π« C5+O.N.E. Participants Successfully Complete Another Trimester
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of another trimester for our esteemed participants in Khiva, Nukus, Samarkand, Tashkent, and Urgench.
π Throughout the trimester, our dedicated 132 professionals in the field of energy and environment, split into 15 groups in Cohort 1 and Cohort 2, engaged in 60 hours of intensive language training. These classes focused on developing essential skills in communicative competence in English, following the principles of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT). In addition to English Language Classes, Cohort One participants from Nukus, Khiva, and Tashkent attended the First National Networking Event held in a hybrid format in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. It should also be mentioned that participants attended a series of online workshops provided as part of the supplementary activities of the C5+O.N.E. (Opening Networks through English) program. One such activity took place on December 2nd, where Cohort 1 participants from Nukus, Khiva, and Tashkent visited the UzAtom Agency in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
π We are delighted to see the progress made by all participants during this period. On behalf of C5+O.N.E., we extend our congratulations to all Cohort One and Cohort Two participants, including our Classroom Teachers, for their dedication and hard work in successfully completing the Trimester.
Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered by the American Councils for International Education, the C5+O.N.E. program involves 5 hours per week of interactive English lessons over three trimesters, totaling 180 hours. Additionally, participants can engage in regional seminars and workshops, facilitating the development of professional networks and promoting regional connectivity throughout the project's implementation.
π Stay tuned for more updates and information regarding C5+O.N.E. and other important announcements.
