🎤 On June 9th, YPIP participants attended a professional development session with Amy Fisher Bruey, Managing Director and Lead Trainer of Equilibrium Coaching  & Consulting.

⚡️Amy delivered a session entitled “Stepping Into Your Power,” focused on how individuals can harness their own power and acknowledge what motivates them. Amy's message was "Life is a journey - let go of the end goal and focus on the process".

🌐This session was one of many sessions organized by American Councils for this year’s YPIP cohort. YPIP is designed to expand the professional capacity and network of students and recent graduates in Uzbekistan, empowering them with the tools needed to become self-reliant learners and successful young professionals.

This week 40 American and 40 local Uzbekistani #English teachers came together in #Tashkent to begin the English Summer Excellence Training (#ESET) program. These 80 teachers will lead three-week trainings for public school teachers throughout #Uzbekistan. The U.S. Embassy is proud to partner with the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the Avloni Teacher Training Institute, and #AmericanCouncils to support students and teachers throughout Uzbekistan.

YPIP Participants Learn About Personal Branding with Jamshid Akhmadaliev

🎤 On June 16th, YPIP participants attended a professional development session with Jamshid Akhmadaliev, a Marketing and PR officer at Webster University. Jamshid has extensive education and background in marketing and PR, and has studied in Europe and the United States through numerous competitive scholarship programs including the Global UGRAD and Erasmus programs.

⚡️Jamshid shared his expertise on personal branding. He offered valuable insights on showcasing unique personal strengths and building strong personal branding that leaves a lasting impression. Jamshid also shared branding rules for participants to follow. "Do not miss the opportunities. Social media is a missed opportunity."

C5+ONE National Training of Teachers Empowers Educators for English Education in Uzbekistan

The National Training of Teachers (NToT) for the C5+ONE program took place at the premises of the American Councils’ office in Tashkent on June 19-20. This intensive workshop was aimed to train a cohort of educators who will be teaching English in Khiva, Nukus, and Tashkent.

The Classroom Teachers were equipped with the best strategies to effectively deliver the program curriculum for Trimester 1. Additionally, on the final day of the NToT, they had the opportunity to connect with participants who were selected based on their results in the adaptive KITE (Kaplan International Tools for English) test.

Empowering Engineering and Environment Professionals: C5+Opening Networks English Cohort 1 Commences in Khiva, Nukus, and Tashkent!

Exciting news! Starting this week, from June 26th, the C5+Opening Networks through English Cohort 1 classes have commenced in three regions of Uzbekistan: Khiva, Nukus, and Tashkent.
We are thrilled to welcome 35 dedicated professionals from the field of Energy and Environment, representing 7 organizations across Uzbekistan. They will embark on a transformative journey of 180 hours of free English-language instruction, along with regional networking and professional development opportunities.
This program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and is administered by American Councils for International Education.
