ℹ️On May 12th, alumni from the Future Leaders Exchange Program (FLEX) and the Young Professional Internships Program (YPIP) gathered for a vibrant Sports Day. During the event, alumni engaged in practicing English, enhancing communication skills, and networking. While enjoying activities like badminton and ping-pong, participants primarily focused on strengthening their professional connections and reconnecting with fellow alumni.

👏 Congratulations to our Faculty Enrichment Program (FEP) fellows, Mamurahon Yuldasheva and Aziza Musoeva on the completion of the CETL program, which is designed for educators who are interested in expanding their knowledge about teaching, learning, and instructional technology.

FEP is a visiting scholar program that was launched in Uzbekistan to enhance the pedagogical skills and professional disciplinary expertise of faculty members. While on the FEP, fellows will engage in curriculum development, explore alternative teaching methodologies, expand their knowledge in their fields of study, and gather new teaching materials and resources.

Today, May 31, 2024, marks the opening ceremony of the Young Professional Internships Program (YPIP). This program offers a 3-month summer internship experience, complete with professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and mentorship. YPIP is designed to equip Uzbek students with essential skills in business and STEM, providing them with real-world experience to thrive in their future careers.

Remarkably, YPIP extends its opportunities beyond Tashkent, reaching students across various regions of Uzbekistan.

In 2024, out of 1,170 applicants, only 75 outstanding finalists were selected. These individuals are smart, active, and goal-oriented, poised to become the next generation of leaders in their respective fields.

Exciting news! The Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL) has partnered with the University of Kansas School of Law to launch a groundbreaking "3+1" program! 🏛✨

Through this program, TSUL students can now complete their bachelor's degree in 3 years at TSUL and spend the final year earning a master's degree at the University of Kansas. After just 4 years, they'll hold both a bachelor's from TSUL and a master's in law from Kansas! 🎓📚

This amazing initiative began with the efforts of Faculty Enrichment Program alum Sardorbek Yusupov, who was hosted at the University of Kansas in 2021. 🌟

FEP is the program of U.S. Embassy in Tashkent and implemented by American Councils for International Education.
