Supporting creation dynamic platforms for innovation and collaboration across Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan to establish "Creative Industrial Parks" in each region within Barkamol Avlod centers. These parks are envisioned to provide the same advantageous conditions enjoyed by residents of IT parks, fostering innovation and collaboration among various stakeholders. Specifically designed to integrate closely with universities and major manufacturers, these parks will serve as dynamic platforms where young entrepreneurs, academic researchers, and business leaders can converge to exchange ideas, develop scientific innovations, and catalyze new business ventures.
Recently, USAID Youth Employment Skills (YES) Activity engaged in discussions with Nasiba Shomansurova, who serves as a key liaison from the Barkamol Avlod Center. The meeting focused on outlining the future steps and strategic initiatives of the YES Activity within this evolving framework.
Looking ahead to the 2024-2025 academic year, there are plans to expand the infrastructure supporting educational and entrepreneurial activities with four additional YES Business Clubs in district centers affiliated with Barkamol Avlod.
