πŸ’« English for IT Summer Camp Concludes, Equipping Over 250 Students with Tech and Communication Skills for the Future

From July 28 to August 15, 2025, the English for IT Summer Camp brought together over 250 merit-based selected 9th–10th grade students from Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Fergana, and Nukus for an intensive 17-day journey of learning, creativity, and collaboration.

Funded by the U.S. Government and implemented by American Councils for International Education in partnership with IT Park University, the program aimed to strengthen English language proficiency, IT skills, and leadership capacity among Uzbekistan’s rising generation of tech-minded learners.

Throughout the camp, participants engaged in:
πŸ“š Core classes in English for IT, IT Skills, and Leadership Skills - all of which were intensive, interactive, and engaging
πŸ’‘ Guest speaker sessions - over 10 engagements with local and international professionals from technology, education, and communication fields
🀝 Collaborative group projects that applied the knowledge and skills learned
🌐 Networking opportunities to connect with peers and professionals across regions

Through classes and guest speaker sessions, students also learned about global technology trends and explored U.S. opportunities for collaboration and education in the field of IT - inspiring them to think internationally and ambitiously.

The camp’s closing days were a celebration of achievement and innovation. Students presented the group projects they had developed - showcasing websites, applications, and creative tech-based solutions inspired by what they had learned during the program. Their presentations reflected not only improved communication and technical skills but also teamwork, problem-solving, and visionary thinking.

By the end of the program, students had expanded their global outlook, gained practical experience, and built lasting connections - preparing them to lead and innovate in the future of Uzbekistan’s tech sector.

The English for IT Program was funded by the U.S. Government through the Public Diplomacy Section of the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan and implemented by American Councils for International Education in partnership with IT Park University.

🌟 #RARinAction in Jizzakh!

On July 28, the Jizzakh alumni community came together for a special event, β€œFrom Alumni to Author: Writing Day.” This creative 2-hour session gave alumni the chance to strengthen their storytelling skills, share personal experiences, and build a supportive community of writers.

The day began with introductions of new alumni, followed by an engaging presentation from Dildora Bakhriddinova, Jizzakh RAR, on How to Write a Compelling Story. Participants learned practical tips on structuring stories, using emotions and vivid details, and writing with authenticity.

Afterward, alumni took part in a hands-on writing session, choosing prompts, crafting personal stories, and even creating drawings to bring them to life. The session concluded with a β€œMagical Storytelling” activity, where alumni shared their experiences of challenges, achievements, and lessons learned.

✨ This event helped alumni enhance their writing and storytelling skills while also deepening bonds within the Jizzakh alumni community.

🌟 #RARinAction in Kashkadarya & Surkhandarya!

From July 29–31, alumni from Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya gathered in Termez for a 3-day Summer Workshop, co-hosted by FLEX, Fulbright TEA, SUSI, and other U.S. Government exchange program alumni.
