YPIP Alumna Participates in the "Young Manager" Project
Summer 2021 was very productive for Bahora Omonbaeva, a graduate of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy majoring in International Economics and Management. As a participant of the Young Professional Internships Program (YPIP), funded by the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent and administered by the American Councils for International Education, Bahora explored the business environment and corporate culture of Bureau Veritas.
As a 3rd year student at university, One of Bahora's biggest goals for 2021 was to intern somewhere that would provide practical experience and skills. She chose to apply for YPIP, and was selected as a finalist.
"YPIP is the most unforgettable experience of my life. YPIP is not only a two-month program that allows you to do an internship in local and international companies. It also serves as a turning point for any young people who want to create a successful career and want to discover their path," Bahora noted.
