Overnight, Russia carried out their largest ever attack on Kropyvnytskyi City and Kirovohrad Oblast since the beginning of the war, using at least 40 Geran-2 drones.

Large fires broke out in Kropvynytskyi as a result of the attack. The main targets appear to be warehouses and railway infrastructure. It's possible that the nearby Kanatove Airbase, which hosts Ukrainian tactical aviation, was also hit.

Explosions were also heard in the towns/cities of Bobrynets, Znamyanka, Bandurivka, Oleksandriya, and Svitlodovsk during the night.

It is far too early to speak of an imminent capture of Dobropillya town by the Russian army, but it is incorrect to refer to these as mere infiltrations. Russian forces are currently building up their troops on the outskirts and in the outlying districts of the town, in preparation for a subsequent major assault on the centre of Dobropillya. They do not wish to repeat the mistakes made at Lyman.
Ukrainian forces are few in number within the town, but as there is no siege in place (contrary to what the Russian Ministry of Defence erroneously claims), the Ukrainian command continues to send troops to halt the Russian advance. Consequently, Russian troops are moving further west and from the north to establish a siege by cutting off the roads leading into Dobropillya and, in a manner similar to what happened in Kostiantynivka, to force a Ukrainian withdrawal. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ

I largely agree with this. While the term "infiltration" can be used for pretty much any assault, the number of Russian soldiers within Dobropillya city has certainly increased recently, particularly in the southwestern residential blocks and industrial zone. The situation isn't critical for Ukraine yet, but it is certainly heading in that direction, and Russia seems to be fully committed on taking the city before winter. Whether that ends up happening or not, I'm not sure. I think there is a reasonable argument for both outcomes.

However, what's become clear is that Russia has shifted their primary offensive axis away from Slovyansk-Kramatorsk to Dobropoillya-Druzhkivka - at least for the Autumn period.

It looks like it will be a foggy night and morning today and tomorrow in many areas of Ukraine.
FPVs, Mavics, Vampires, and interceptors will have it especially hard, and Russian infiltrators might slip through more than other days, especially considering that there's still greenery.

The US military has developed new strike plans that include potentially using the so-called โ€œmother of all bombsโ€ to target Iranian energy infrastructure and nuclear sites should President Donald Trump give the order to resume combat operations either before or after the midterm elections, according to multiple US officials familiar with the matter to CNN.

It seems that the numbers I provided for the attack on Kropyvnytskyi and Kirovohrad Oblast were major undercounts.

Local authorities report that nearly 360 drones were used in the attack, striking at least 26 different locations. However, it's likely that a large portion of these were drones transiting through Kirovohrad Oblast to other regions of Ukraine.

Nevertheless, this was still by far the largest attack on Kirovohrad Oblast since the beginning of the war, with well over 100 drones used to attack the region itself. At least three civilians were killed and six other injured, and the attack lasted over 10 hours.

Zelensky announced that Ukraine will resume strikes on Russian oil refineries, following Trump's earlier request for an energy ceasefire.

He also accused the U.S. of cutting off Starlink and Starshield access for political purposes, stating that the restrictions were not due to any technical issues. Starlink and Starshield restrictions have since been lifted, which Ukraine uses for these mid-to-long-range strikes.
