A single Russian Geran-2 drone is currently maneuvering over Kyiv in a very unusual manner.

It's repeatedly rapidly dropping in altitude down to altitudes of 400 metres in a dive, before immediately pulling up to over 700 metres.

I will be changing the format I use for releasing Ukraine frontline map updates.

From now on, I will publish updates from a sector once I have adequate information from there. So, instead of you guys receiving a full release of 15+ different sectors every week or two, there will be more sporadic updates from one sector at a time as the information comes in.

This will significantly reduce the delay that information is being posted with, and will allow me to account for more details that may otherwise be omitted from my current format.

The Polish Ministry of Defence has denied reports by RBC-Ukraine that it blocked the transfer of a military aid package to Ukraine due to the Lviv Regional Council's decision to declare 2027 the "Year of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army" (UPA).

The UPA was a far-right Ukrainian nationalist insurgent group that collaborated with Nazi Germany during World War Two, and committed massacres against poles in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia, which Poland recognises as a genocide.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the decision by the Lviv Regional Council counterproductive.

As usual, some of the Russian RM-48U modified S-400 ballistic missiles missed their target (CHP-4 Combined Heat and Power Plant).

This photo shows a crater following an impact near a residential area, near CHP-4.

Kyiv's Mayor reports that part of the metro infrastructure on the "South" Bridge in Kyiv was damaged in Russia's overnight missile attack on the city.

This was probably caused by one of the cluster munition strikes on the CHP-5 Combined Heat and Power Plant, which is located right next to this bridge.

The New York Times reports that the U.S. and Israel have drawn up new strike plans for a renewed bombing campaign against Iran.

The targets of such strikes would reportedly likely include energy infrastructure, nuclear facilities, and Iran's missile and drone arsenal, aimed at "pushing Iran's economic over the brink" to force them to make concessions in negotiations.

This comes as U.S. and Israeli fighter jets have been conducting repeated simulated launch maneuvers towards Iran over Iraq, with the Iranian Air Force scrambling it's own fighter jets for patrols and training exercises. Iran has also been carrying out daily ballistic missile tests at multiple different launch sites, and has also been seen test-launching surface-to-air missiles.

The "Epicentr" Shopping Centre in Uman, Cherkasy Oblast, that was hit by multiple different Russian Geran-4/5 jet-drones yesterday, has been completely destroyed.

This drone was likely conducting a damage assessment. It repeatedly flew over the impact sites in eastern, southern, and northwestern Kyiv.

It was not shot down, and after conducting several maneuvers and loops around the city, flew east back to Chernihiv Oblast.

Usually Russia uses a Geran-4 jet-drone for this, so it's unclear why they are using a slower and more vulnerable Geran-2 this time. Perhaps they were baiting air defence at the same time.

Zelensky claims that Russia launched 21 missiles towards Kyiv last night (very close to my earlier report from 6 hours ago of 22 missiles), and did not mention any interceptions.
