=======================================

🇷🇺 Another day, another aviation loss

Last night, at the Akhtubinsk airfield, a Su-57 caught fire during engine startup. The aircraft either rolled onto the grass on its own or was moved there to prevent the fire from spreading to other jets. A blaze ensued, resulting in the complete destruction of the aircraft. This marks the fourth Su-57 lost by the Russian Federation this year.

Over the last two weeks, Russia has been carrying out a strike campaign using long-range glide-bombs against northwestern Donetsk Oblast and southeastern Kharkiv Oblast.

At least 8 groups of glide-bombs were used, all of which were launched by Su-34s between Toretsk and Ocheretyne. This is a new set of launch lines for Su-34s, and has moved further north due to the recent Russian advances near Kostyantynivka and Druzhkivka.

Because of this, for the first time ever, Russian KAB glide-bombs were able to strike the city of Barvinkove, Kharkiv Oblast, flying for over 80 km. Barvkinkove alone is responsible for the majority of Ukrainian logistics into Donbas. Heavy strikes were also carried out on settlements along the Donetsk-Kharkiv regional border, up to 75 km from the launch lines.

The attached map shows the approximate flight routes of each group of KAB glide-bombs used in these long-range strikes over the last two weeks.

The U.S. State Department has approved the sale of 500 Patriot PAC-3 interceptor missiles to Ukraine, worth approximately $2.1 Billion USD.

The sale will be funded entirely by Ukraine's partners, including Canada, Germany, Norway, and the EU's Ukraine Support Loan.

No timeline on the sale has been provided, but it's assumed that the interceptor missiles are intended to defend against Russia's winter strike campaign against Ukrainian energy infrastructure in Kyiv.

Dobropillya direction.

Several Russian DRG groups continue to operate deep behind Ukrainian lines north and northeast of Dobropillya, with Ukraine so far being unable to clear them out.

Recently, one of these groups was detected operating on the southern outskirts of the village of Vesna, approximately 11.5 km from the nearest Russian-controlled territory.

These DRG groups continue to pose a major risk to Ukrainian drone operators and artillery crews. It's possible that they are attempting to conduct reconnaissance to direct strikes against valuable rear Ukrainian targets, carry out sabotage actions, or identify safe infiltration routes for the actual assault groups.

Radio Free Europe's Washington Correspondent reports that the Patriot PAC-3 interceptor missiles are not expected to be delivered to Ukraine until after 2030, which would mean they would have no effect on Russia's winter strike campaign against Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

He also reported that there is no breakthrough on joint production of the missiles, with no concrete timeline for domestic production.

Russia carried out a large-scale attack on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast last night, using dozens of Geran-4 jet-drones.

Explosions were heard in several different districts of Dnipro, as well as the cities of Kamianske, Pavlohrad, and Synelnykove; and the towns of Slobozhanske and Oleksandrivka.

The primary target was energy and railway infrastructure. A road bridge in the town of Slobozhanske was also struck. Widespread power outages occurred across Dnipro and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast as a result of the attacks, with new rolling blackouts now in place for multiple cities.
