In October 2025, Ukraine launched 150 drones at Moscow Oblast in one day. Not a single drone was able to impact.

Today, in June 2026, Ukraine launched hundreds of drones at Moscow, of which a minimum of 8 impacted (probably more).

Russia's interception rate of Ukrainian long-range drones is still very high, probably over 90%, but Ukrainian drones are of much higher quality now, and the Ukrainian command has learned from past mistakes on how to successfully carry out these long-range strikes.

I don't think Russia's air defence has gotten any worse. I would even argue it's improved because of their interceptor drone programme. One thing people forget to take into account is the fact that Russia is the largest country in the world, making it impossible to completely cover it with air defence.

The fact is, Ukraine hast just gotten a lot better at drone warfare, and is continuing to improve their capabilities.

An exchange of fallen soldiers between Russia and Ukraine is taking place right now.

522 Ukrainian bodies are being exchanged for 33 Russian bodies.

Despite the new ceasefire agreement, the IDF released a new map showing areas of southern Lebanon that Israeli soldiers continue to operate.

This map is incorrect, and shows areas that Israeli forces have not even entered yet, let alone control, as being part of this zone. It's likely that this represents more of a zone that Israeli forces either control or can control within a short period of time.

Kharkov oblast, Kupyansk direction.

Russian forces cleared the AFU out of Petropavlivka and advanced to the south of the settlement.

They also advanced south of Kurylivka, entering Novoosynovo.

There is also information about significant Russian progress in the Kupyansk direction, not all of it is confirmed. If it is all confirmed, and they are able to consolidate in these new areas, we could see the entire Ukrainian bridgehead east of the Oskil River finally come under Russian control.

The Dnipropetrovsk OVA announced mandatory evacuation orders for all families with children living in 23 different settlements of eastern Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, including the city of Shakhtarske, due to intensified Russian KAB and drone strikes.

Some of these settlements are as far as 51 km from the frontline.

Additionally, mandatory evacuation orders for all families with children were issued for the town of Komyshuvakha, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, which is situated around 17 km from the frontline.

According to unconfirmed reports, Ukraine will receive dozens of new Patriot PAC-2 and PAC-3 interceptor missiles, as well as IRIS-T interceptor missiles from the Netherlands, Germany, the UAE, and the U.S. in the near future, to help defend Kyiv against Russian Iskander-M ballistic missile attacks.

Over the last 24 hours, fighting intensified between the IDF and Hezbollah as Israeli forces attempted to advance from Beaufort Castle towards the strategic Aali Et Taher Heights southeast of the city of Nabatieh.

Hezbollah responded by shelling Israeli forces with rockets and mortars, striking Merkava tanks with ATGMs, and engaging in clashes with small-arms.

Among the dead from this Hezbollah ambush is the commander of the 52nd Armoured Battalion Lieutenant Colonel Dor Gedalia Ben Simhon.

During the night, 4 Russian Tu-22m3 strategic bombers redeployed from Olenya Airbase to Engels-2 Airbase, where they are being equipped with Kh-22/32 cruise missiles.

These bombers will likely take part in the upcoming combined Russian missile and drone attack.

Additionally, more deliveries of Iskander-M ballistic missiles and Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles took place recently, while Geran-2/Gerbera drones continue to be accumulated at all major launch points near Ukraine.

7 Tu-95MS (2 at Engels-2 Airbase, 5 at Olenya Airbase) and 2-3 Tu-160M strategic bombers (at Ukrainka Airbase) are also equipped with Kh-101 cruise missiles.

All signs point towards the next large-scale attack taking place this weekend, however this will become clearer closer to the time.

This is not a retaliatory attack for Ukraine's drone strikes on Moscow, as it was being prepared before Ukraine even carried out these strikes.

The IDF announced that 5 soldiers were injured in an overnight Hezbollah FPV drone strike on southern Lebanon, including a reserve officer who was severely injured, and three reserve non-commissioned officers as well as a non-reserve non-commissioned officer who were lightly injured.
