The other was flying extremely low and is no longer detected.

The Ukrainian General Staff claims that overnight Ukrainian mid-range drone strikes targeted the Geran-2 drone and Geran-4 jet-drone launch site at Donetsk International Airport.

Russian Geran-4 jet-drones struck four more commercial vessels, including two in the western Black Sea, one at Chornomorsk Port in Odesa Oblast, and one in the Buh River Estuary.

The ships in the Buh River has not moved since 2022.

Ukrainian presidential advisor on the development of defense technologies Serhii "Flash" reports that the recent Russian Geran-4/5 jet-drone strikes on targets across Kyiv, including bridges, are likely being enabled by Russian operatives within Kyiv activating mesh radio repeaters.

Flash states that some of these strikes, including the one targeting the SBU headquarters, occurred when there were no other drones in the air which, would be required to form an aerial mesh network of repeaters and transmitters. A debris analysis also reportedly concluded that none of the drones are equipped with communications systems necessary for these strikes. It's also impossible accurately strike the cables or support structures of the bridge without the drones remaining online until the very moment of the strike.

He estimates that there may only be 1-3 of these operatives within Kyiv, and emphasises that they are very difficult to find. As long as these alleged operatives remain active, electronic warfare jamming in the city would not be effective.

The IDF claims to have killed another fighter from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's rocket launching units, this time a member of their Shujaiyya Battalion (part of the PIJ's Gaza City Brigade).

They also claimed to have killed the head of a PIJ anti-tank missile cell in Gaza City.

Ukraine has begun rapidly deploying their new improved interceptor drone units, which fly at higher speeds, and are designed to shoot down Russian jet-drone drones. This has resulted in a recent large increase of interceptions of Russian Geran-4 and Geran-5 jet-drones, especially across the central and northern regions of Ukraine.

The southern, eastern, and western regions still lack these improved interceptor drone units, however in western Ukraine, this is less of a problem for Ukraine, because not as many jet-drones are able to reach this area due to higher interception rates further east. In the south and east, however, the situation remains much worse for Ukraine, with a substantially lower interception rate. Odesa is one of the most striking examples of this, where a lot of the air defence still relies on surface-to-air missiles, aviation, and mobile fire crews.

Furthermore, with Russia constantly increasing their jet-drone production rate and usage, even a hypothetical 90% interception rate (which might be reached in the next month) wouldn't be anywhere near enough to stop the systematic destruction of Ukraine's warehouses and other critical industries. However, the rapid progress Ukraine has made in countering these drones has been very impressive - and the current increased interception rate even more-so, considering the current F-16 maintenance crisis.

Although, as Ukraine develops their counter-measures, Russia will naturally develop their own counter-measures to these counter-measures, forcing Ukraine to adapt in turn as well. Russia seems very committed to the development of the Geran-4 and Geran-5 jet-drones, especially considering they purposefully decreased the production rate of the Geran-2 to facilitate this boom in production of jet-powered drones, so I think we can expect some additional changes and modifications to appear in the near future.
