Now obviously this is just because Deepstate is publishing updates with a large delay due to the whole "OPSEC" thing. Russia probably captured this area marked on Deepstate's map a while ago, and Ukraine is currently attempting to clear it, which is what Rybar is showing on their map. Deepstate will likely follow suit with Rybar's map in the future, assuming Russia doesn't push them back out before then.

But I can imagine how weird and confusing this must look to an outside observer who may be used to other conflicts' information spaces.

The Ukrainian soldier, volunteer Kostyantyn Vlasenko, who became the first person to be evacuated using a UAV in the war spent 491 consecutive days at his position in a concrete drainage pipe.

His comrade was killed in a Russian attack, and Vlasenko suffered significant injuries, forcing him to amputate both of his legs himself with an ordinary knife. He survived on water and food delivered by Ukrainian drones.

Soldiers remaining in their positions without rotation for over a year is not uncommon in the Ukrainian Army, and is caused due to a number of reasons, including deep Russian infiltrations behind their lines making evacuation almost impossible, and commanders refusing to withdraw their troops.

War is hell.

I'm very glad to see Creamy Caprice has finally started acknowledging Russian infiltration operations, instead of blindly mapping control zones where a single Russian soldier is seen being hit by an FPV drone.

Russian S8000 Banderol cruise missile attack.

A large fire broke out at an "Epicentr" Shopping Centre in the city of Uman, Cherkasy Oblast, following a Russian Geran-4/5 jet-drones strike.

At least 5 drones were used, a couple of which targeted the shopping centre. Another unknown target near the city's university was hit by one of the drones.

This is the third Epicentr Shopping Centre to be hit int the last 24 hours. Two other locations were targeted in the cities of Dubno (Rivne Oblast) and Pervomaisk (Mykolaiv Oblast).

The city is under attack from Russian S8000 Banderol cruise missiles.

The city of Slovyansk, Donetsk Oblast, is under attack from Russian KAB glide-bombs.

Strong explosions can be heard.

The Russian Ministry of Defence issued a statement regarding their overnight attacks on Ukraine.

In Poltava, they claim that a warehouse complex used to store mid-to-long-range drones was struck.

In Kyiv, the MoD announced targeting the "Nyvky" 330 kV electrical substation, which they say is used to power logistics centres and enterprises of the military-industrial complex.

The MoD also claims that another dry cargo ship in the western Black Sea travelling to Odesa Port was hit.

New emergency power outages have been implemented in the Bucha District of Kyiv Oblast and the Sviatoshynskyi District of Kyiv City as a result of overnight Russian attacks on energy infrastructure in the region.

Repair work is underway at the damaged facilities.
