The Russian Ministry of Defence issued a statement regarding their overnight combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine.
In Kyiv City, they claim to have struck the following:
- An industrial enterprise used to manufacture and store mid-to-long-range drones.
- Two workshops used to assemble, manufacture, and store mid-to-long-range drones, including one which deals specifically with FP-1 long-range drones and FP-2 mid-range drones.
- The "Southern" Railway Bridge in Kyiv, which is used to transport military cargo.
Additionally, the MoD claims to have struck a customs terminal of the "Regional Logistics Centre" Company in Kharkiv Oblast, which they allege is used to store and distribute material and technical resources, dual-use goods intended for the Ukrainian military, as well as reconnaissance and strike drones.
Furthermore, the MoD claims that another dry cargo ship was hit in the western Black Sea, which was allegedly delivering military cargo to Chornomorsk Port in Odesa Oblast.

Update from Oleshky.
The humanitarian mission has begun, with aid now being distributed into the city. Both sides continue to observe the ceasefire, with no violations reported by Russia or Ukraine.
A large number of civilians are also reported moving around on the western (Ukrainian-held) side of the Dnieper River, likely taking advantage of the lack of drones in the air to go about their days. Some civilians are also actively moving around the eastern (Russian-held) bank.

Yesterday, a geolocation surfaced showing a Ukrainian position on the southeastern-most part of Kostyantynivka being hit by a Russian Rubicon FPV drone.
Judging by an analysis of Sentinel-2 satellite imagery, the video was recorded no earlier than October 12, meaning it is new and very much relevant to the current situation in Kostyantynivka.
This is not surprising, and the area has remained within my "infiltration zone", which encompasses the area where any soldier from either side might be located at a given time, including the furthest-most Russian infiltration close to the outskirts of Druzhkivka, and the deepest-most Ukrainian positions still present behind Russian lines on the southeastern outskirts of Kostyantynivka. It's likely that some isolated Ukrainian positions are still present even further south on the northern edge of Ivanopillya as well.
From a military perspective, these areas are "controlled" by Russia, although they have not achieved full "consolidation". Russia's presence in these areas is overwhelming compared to Ukraine's, so it should not be considered a "grey-zone" in my opinion (hence why I have a separate layer on my map for the "infiltration zone").
The majority of Ukrainian positions of significance within the city limits remain in the northern and northwestern parts of Kostyantynivka, which have remained in a grey-zone on my map for a few months, due to the continued presence of Russian positions intermingled with Ukrainian ones. Russian and Ukrainian forces likely have some form of parity of forces in these outer districts, including some areas with Russian dominance, and others with Ukrainian dominance. Both sides are constantly infiltrating each other's positions, attempting to clear each other out, making it impossible and impracticable to map a defined "frontline" there.

Everyone always talks about how chaotic the frontline is, and what is called the "death of the conventional frontline" in Ukraine, but I thought I should make a visualisation to show you all what that might actually look like.

Situation in Oleshky as of 4am local time.
It's been over 24 hours since the implementation of the localised ceasefire, and not a single violation by either side has occurred. The ceasefire seems to also extend to other parts of Kherson Oblast, as neither Russia or Ukraine have carried out any confirmed attacks in the region. Russian and Ukrainian reconnaissance drones continue to extensively work in the skies.
Humanitarian work continues in the city of Oleshky, delivering much-needed food and other essentials to the local population. Checkpoints and evacuation routes are being established on both banks of the Dnieper River. The first evacuations from Oleshky will begin on October 30, and the ceasefire is scheduled to end on November 1 at 10:59pm local time.
Civilians are taking advantage of the calm to go about their days, with the streets of Kherson City seen much busier than normal today. Residents are also returning to their damaged or destroyed homes to salvage items, while municipal services are repairing damaged anti-drone netting and cleaning streets that are usually difficult to reach in the war conditions.
The militaries are also using this ceasefire to their benefit. Demining crews are operating extensively on both banks of the river, operating close to the frontline. The sound of explosions from these operations have been heard throughout the day. Evacuations of injured and killed soldiers are also taking place, while new logistical routes are being organised and new reinforcements and supplies are being brought forward in preparation for the renewal of fighting.
The attached images show the streets of Kherson City today.
