Heavy fighter jet activity is reported along the Iran-Iraq border. Unclear if these are Israeli, Iranian, or both.

Earlier, Israeli fighter jets were heard over Damascus.

In addition to the internet outages on Qeshm Island during tonight's U.S. airstrikes, the internet speed across western Iran has significantly slowed over the last three days, and is at its worst tonight.

It definitely seems like something will happen relatively soon, although probably not tonight.

Following tonight's U.S. airstrikes on Qeshm Island and other tensions in the region rising, the U.S. has issued renewed security alerts across the Middle East.

Security alerts were issued in Saudi Arabia, Israel, the UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain, and urged American citizens to exercise increased vigilance, prepare for flight cancellations, airspace closures, and rapid escalation in fighting. They also warned that recent intelligence indicates that Iran will try to target senior American officials in the region.

The Iranian Army claims that their air defences shot down a U.S. MQ-9 "Reaper" drone over Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz, around 30 minutes ago.
