«George Koumentakis and Dimitris Papaioannou, created in 1995 – “for the friends lost to AIDS” – has returned in a new version.
Requiem for the end of love is one of the most emblematic works of the first synthetic period by the internationally recognized composer and Artistic Director of ELS Giorgos Koumentakis, with a libretto based on the poem "Lazarus" by Dimitrios Kapetanakis.
The leading international Greek archimusician Theodor Currentzis has breathed new life into the heartbreaking work of George Koumentakis, highlighting the rare qualities of music and affirming its timelessness. Performed by the solo musicians of the ELS Orchestra, the choral ensemble MAIZON Ensemble and the high speakers Diana Nosireva and Xenia Dorodova.
The leading Greek director, choreographer and visual creator Dimitris Papaioannou, reworking the Requiem on the grand scale of the National Lyric Scene, combines with the concepts of the fall and the devastating dimension of human existence, through the bodies and interpretation of the fifty great performers”

Сегодня последний день, когда в парижском музее Родена можно увидеть кутюрную коллекцию Dior, созданную невероятным Джонатаном Андерсоном.
В павильоне оставили всю сценографию — зеркальные стены, потолок из цикламенов. 20 платьев. Гениальная идея показать ее парижанам, никакой толпы, просто оживление, и музею дополнительная прибыль — зайти можно по билету.
Не знала, что Андерсон работал художником по костюмам в двух фильмах Луки Гуаданьино — Challengers (2024) и Queer (2024).
