Meet Leo, a passionate Software Development student from Kayin State, Myanmar, currently studying at AUPP. His journey is all about chasing his dreams in tech and embracing new opportunities.
Leo chose AUPP because of his love for IT and his goal to become a software engineer. The inspiring quote “Study Locally, Live Globally” motivated him to see AUPP as a gateway to a global education with a local touch. Studying here has allowed him to earn an American degree while experiencing life in Cambodia, opening doors he never imagined.
Leo encourages everyone to stay open-minded and seize every opportunity—whether through student clubs, events, or support systems.
We’re proud to have Leo as part of our AUPP family and can’t wait to see him achieve his goals!

Meet Sangfong,from Class of 2020, a driven graduate with a dual degree in Business Administration from AUPP and the University of Arizona. His passion for finance and the capital markets has propelled him to make a real impact in Cambodia’s financial development.
Currently, Sangfong serves as a Capital Market Analyst at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, where he conducts market research, analyzes financial data, and supports initiatives to strengthen Cambodia’s capital market. His role has also given him the chance to participate in international meetings and training, broadening his global perspective.
His advice to students: “Stay curious, embrace every learning opportunity, develop your analytical and communication skills, and enjoy the journey. Success is about steady effort and finding fulfillment in what you do.”
