*RBI to Conduct Auction of SDLS BONDS for INR 151 Billion*
*Serving Motherland | 60% of NRIs from Australia, Canada, USA, Singapore and Canada consider settling in BHARAT post-retirement: SBNRI- A FinTech platform*
https://www.businesstoday.in/amp/personal-finance/news/story/60-of-nris-from-australia-canada-usa-singapore-and-canada-consider-settling-in-india-post-retirement-survey-396848-2023-09-05
*BHARAT’s financial stability is making NRIs want to return to the country, reveals a recent survey by SBNRI*

◆ BHARAT, world's top recipient of remittances, received $112 billion in 2022-23
◆ 72% NRIs Think BHARAT Has A Stable Investment Avenue.
◆ Other factors such as family and social connections, cost of living, familiarity with culture, and healthcare facilities.

*At least 60 per cent of non-resident Indians (NRIs) in the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, and Singapore are considering returning to BHARAT after retirement.*

■ The BHARAT government offers various financial benefits to NRIs, like the option to convert foreign currencies into BHARAT's rupees and save and invest in BHARAT.
■ BHARAT is making a strong rebound with digitized and stable economic activities. This makes BHARAT hold a promising future for investors.
■ The country is also making it easy for NRIs to understand complex taxation systems and certain norms that make BHARAT a high return market for NRI investors to utilize as their retirement plans.
■ Many people may not think about retirement planning in their 30s or 40s, but NRIs have their eyes set on a robust retirement plan.
■ Around 80 per cent of NRIs in Australia plan to return to BHARAT after retirement, the same for Singapore, followed by 75 per cent from the US and 70 per cent from the UK. NRIs from Canada who are considering returning to India comprised 63 per cent.
■ BHARAT is emerging as an economy with opportunities for start-ups with manufacturing capabilities, financial services and technological advancement.
■ They see BHARAT as “a stable investment avenue” for the residents and non-residents.
■ Other factors such as family and social connections, cost of living, familiarity with culture, and healthcare facilities.
■ As per the survey, 37 per cent of Canadian NRIs, 33 per cent of Australian NRIs, and 23 per cent of NRIs in the US and the UK feel confident to return to their home country to spend their golden years.
■ The SBNRI survey findings show that these NRIs have already started investing in BHARAT to support them financially after retirement.
■ Around 56 per cent of NRIs in the US and 44 per cent in Canada are confident of returning and have made investments in BHARAT. Similarly, 35 per cent of NRIs from the UK and 45 per cent from Singapore are preparing themselves financially and making investments to support their retirement settlement plan in BHARAT.

*The NRIs are bullish on BHARAT’s growth. The survey reveals the financial scenario in BHARAT with ample investment opportunities, making the country stand out as a retirement heaven for NRIs, particularly those from the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, and Singapore.*
*BHARAT more attractive than US, China, and Europe! At 10.9%, BHARTIYA stock market delivered higher returns than US, China, others in last 10 years: Report*
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.livemint.com/market/stock-market-news/at-10-9-indian-stock-market-delivered-higher-returns-than-us-china-others-in-last-10-years-report/amp-11693916022376.html
*BHARAT’s long period performance is a function of sound and stable domestic macro-economic scenario, along with high real growth rate. BHARAT remains the fastest growing major economy of the world and expected to be the third largest economy by 2027.*

◆ In the last five years, Indian markets delivered 18.8 per cent annualized return, compared to 6.9 per cent of US, 12.1 per cent of Japan index, and 7.6 per cent of US index.
◆ In the last three years, the annualized return of Indian markets stood at 6.1 per cent, higher than US, UK indices.

*Industry experts and financial leaders have recognised BHARAT's promising prospects for investment returns. With a strong foundation, favorable government policies, growing credibility among international investors, and the China+1 narrative, BHARAT's market is poised for growth.*

■ Despite challenges, BHARAT is strongly poised to build on its strong structural and macroeconomic fundamentals. The market performance will never be linear, but the foundation for long-term economic growth is being built.
■ Over the last 123 years, the Indian stock market has delivered a real return of 6.6 per cent, which is higher than the returns delivered by US and China markets as well as the world equity markets.
■ This means that BHARAT has compounded investors' wealth at 6.6 per cent CAGR or compound annual growth rate, higher than 6.4 per cent CAGR by the United States and 3.3 per cent by China since the year 1900.
■ The CAGR shows real compounding which means it is adjusted for inflation and takes care of currency depreciation that happens over the years because of inflation.
■ BHARAT’s real gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate was over 7 per cent in 2022-23 and expected to remain over 6 per cent in 2023-24. BHARAT’s growth rates are more structural and over period it has managed to reduce the impact of external global macro vagaries on domestic macro.

*Another factor which is playing an important part in BHARAT’s growth is strong demographics. With a relatively young and growing population, BHARAT is poised to take a competitive advantage as it would reach the highest working age population that is aspirational, young and with increasing income levels, by 2030.*
