Clarification and Update on May-June Event & July KAIA Staking Rewards

Dear Avalon Labs Community,

First and foremost, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to every member of our community for your unwavering support of Avalon Labs and our collaborative initiatives. We deeply respect our users, and your interests remain our top priority in everything we do.

We would like to clarify an important matter regarding the event held from May 15th to June 30th. This event was not the KAIA Portal Epoch campaign but an independent activity operated solely by Avalon Labs. It was designed based on a separate incentive arrangement provided by KAIA Foundation exclusively for the Avalon Community, stemming from a partnership contract signed last year.

We honor and respect our collaboration with KAIA Foundation, which is why we chose to launch this incentive program independently to allow our community members to participate. However, due to differing interpretations of the contract, there was some miscommunication which unfortunately led to KAIA Foundation not delivering the expected incentives to Avalon Labs. Consequently, we have been unable to distribute rewards to the participants of this specific Avalon-run event.

If you participated directly in the KAIA Epoch campaign, you should have already received incentives distributed by KAIA Foundation. We have already transferred AVL tokens to KAIA Foundation, which took charge of distributing those rewards. For users who only participated in the May event, we are actively communicating with KAIA Foundation and hope to resolve the matter so that rewards can be issued in accordance with the contract.

The rewards we announced on August 22 cover users who participated in KAIA-related staking activities from July 1 onward. The distribution rules are as follows:

We performed four snapshots of users’ positions on July 1st, 15th, 21st, and 30th across these markets: KAIA Main Market, stKAIA Market, and USDaLend Market. Users who supplied more than $5 on any market at the time of a snapshot were included.

KAIA rewards are calculated based on the average of the four snapshot positions. For example, if your snapshot positions were 100, 100, 100, and 0, your average position would be 75. The minimum reward is 2 KAIA tokens, and there is no maximum cap.

All wallet addresses are treated equally; we do not differentiate between wallets, whale wallets, or others. We are not aware of the identities of wallets mentioned in Discord.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your July rewards, please reply here with your wallet address . We will verify your eligibility and ensure that any missing rewards are compensated promptly.
