今次我哋JHK將會舉行一個與地方議員會面嘅活動，好高興邀請咗來自英國主要政黨：保守黨、工黨和自由民主黨嘅議員出席。佢哋會為大家講解各政黨嘅政綱同對當地嘅民生政策。

同時，亦會為初到英國嘅香港人解釋英國嘅政治制度和投票的嘅重要性。

活動日期：2022年5月2日（星期一）

活動時間：晚上7 - 9.30pm

活動地點：Colindale , The Moon Under Water, NW9 6RR

I would like everyone to do a little bit of preparation before the meeting up. Please could you research a bit on the background of the the parties they are representing and prepare at least 1 question to ask them tomorrow?


This will be the first ever councillors meet up with Hongkongers in Barnet and I hope we can leave a good impression to them.

暖氣軍師撐香港：了解英國政治制度

「暖氣軍師撐香港」創辦人Terry Leung表示，舉辨會面的目的是要讓初來英國的港人了解英國的政治制度和投票的重要性，「活動是要幫助他們了解不同政黨的政鋼和議會功能。這也是融入社會的好機會。積極參與自己的社區事務可以提升港人的形象。」

然而，出席人數比預計中少，令他感到失望，「哥連戴爾是倫敦其中一個港人熱門聚居地，甚至所屬地區班列特亦有非常多港人居住。我本預計會有更多人出席，但實際人數較預期少，對此感到失望。」

他認為，四年一屆的地方選舉對於新來定居的香港人來說尤為重要。因為在履行公民權利和責任之餘，區議員的職能主要負責管理議會，相關政策可能會影響社區的大小事務。故希望更多的港人能夠坐言起行，在5月5日投票並做出明智的決定，「地區議會由垃圾收集到社區未來計劃等無一不包括在內，絕對影響你的生活。」

「暖氣軍師撐香港」創辦人Terry Leung表示，每次英國選舉對在英港人來說都重要，因為這是履行公民權利和責任，「對於在英港人來說，這是一個很好的機會來得到公民身分和真正國家歸屬感的感覺。因為在投票後，我們不再是『海外英國國民』了，我們都是英國國民。」

他認為，地方選舉對於新來定居的香港人來說尤為重要。因為區議員職能主要負責管理議會，相關政策可能會影響地方房價和當地企業等，「我們正在認真對待是次選舉，並在選舉前幾天組織港人與議員會面，以幫助他們了解不同政黨的政鋼和議會功能。我們希望更多的香港人能夠投票並做出明智的決定。」

課程將會運用 #故事、#寓言、#詩歌 等材料提升學生的聽、説、讀、寫等能力；課堂活動 #多元化，如戲劇教學、繪本教學等，以培養學習興趣。

👩🏻‍🏫導師介紹：施老師畢業於香港大學中文學院及教育學院，具文學士及教育學士（語文教育）學位，曾仼教中文（粵教中）及普通話多年，教學經驗豐富。

課堂及導師簡介：
Rachel作為營養師, 有感我們無論在香港或英國每天都在不平衡中尋找平衡。平衡生活與工作。瑜伽是好好練習平衡, 以及和自己相處、靜心的時間。由香港到英國要適應新生活, 練習瑜伽給予了思考空間。希望藉此機會與大家分享瑜伽。
是次慈善瑜伽課包括了瑜伽呼吸法、靜心及體式練習, 讓參加者集中於呼吸、感受自己的身體。課堂將會用廣東話及英語授課, 歡迎初學者或有經驗的瑜伽練習者。

Rachel is a registered Nutritionist moved from Hong Kong to the UK. She feels that life is full of imbalance, and we always try to make a balance. We balance life and work. This charity yoga class brings you to an attempt of mindfulness practice from pranayama, meditation and asana practices.
