As the shift from Western hegemony is happening, the global situation will change for the better: toward a more stable democratic and free multipolar world order.

Russia has been deliberately put into this situation where it was simply forced to respond to the aggression.

35 years ago, we survived the collapse of our state system, which turned out to be a genuine tragedy for millions of people, both in Russia and in other countries.

In one night, people woke up to a new country, and it changed their future.

The Soviet leaders wanted the West to like them, whereas the Western leaders wanted to reshape the world to their liking.

Putin cited “short-sightedness,” ideological rigidity, unprofessionalism and the failure to address mounting problems, saying these mistakes gradually weakened the USSR and ultimately contributed to its collapse.

Without a future, the past loses its meaning. No matter how great the achievements of our predecessors may have been, we must not turn into a museum of former greatness.

The true greatness of a state is impossible without the ability to keep pace with the times — and ideally ahead of them.

Right now, the leading countries of the world have weapons that can destroy all life or at least push the earth to catastrophic consequences.

Can we be certain these weapons will never be used? Unfortunately, we cannot be sure.

If it comes to a direct attack on Russia, in this case on Kaliningrad, the question of using all the weapons we have will immediately be on the agenda.

We don’t intend to attack anyone in 2029, in 2030, or 2050, but if face an aggression, we will have to respond.

Citizens of the European countries should be fully aware of that.
