Who is your favourite Spanish Chelsea player here?

Thoughts on Levi being the vice-captain if Enzo leaves?

Who would you rather have as our Vice-captain? 💭

The current squad is not physically built to win duels and out-run opponents in the high-intensity Premier League style. Instead, they thrive when well-coached to play to their strengths: intelligent use and control of space in possession, a compact defensive block, players deployed in their best positions, and effective counter-pressing.

Enzo Maresca showed glimpses of this, but the poster believes Xabi Alonso is the ideal manager to unlock the team’s full potential. Alonso’s positional play is rated even higher, and with a focused pre-season (especially without European distractions), the team could look transformed within 4-5 months and return to being a serious contender.

📊 Trevoh Chalobah completed the most passes among all Chelsea players, with a total of 2074 successful passes.

Furthermore, only two other players achieved a higher number of successful passes than Chalobah during the 2025/26 Premier League season.

Shim Mheuka and Harrison Murray-Campbell are available on loan. Both are attracting interest in the EFL and Europe.

Kaiden Wilson is also available on loan.

Other Chelsea youth players have pre-season to try and break into Xabi Alonso’s squad but competition is fierce.

Elliot Anderson £125M
Sandro Tonali £110M
Mateus Fernandes £85M
Alex Scott £80M

So let's be honest Enzo Fernández should be £150M.

Arda Guler links to Chelsea could have some truth to it, Bernardo Silva signs for Real Madrid.

Would you take Guler in a swap deal in exchange for Enzo?

Real Madrid are signing Bernardo Silva.

Manchester City are focused on Elliott Anderson.

Vitinha and João Neves are not leaving PSG.

Yes, Enzo Fernández is a fantastic player, but I don’t think he or his agent, Sebastián Pastore, expected things to unfold like this. At this point, the most realistic outcome is for him to renew his contract and remain at Chelsea.

No club is paying £120 million for him right now.

And honestly, I’m happy to have him stay. We need to keep our core players together while adding more quality to the squad. The project is moving in the right direction, and having players of Enzo’s caliber around can only help.

One African team will pull an upset here.

Chelsea sold Pulisic to AC Milan for £20m in 2023, then went on to sign these:

Garnacho £40m
Felix £42m
Gittens £50m
Nkunku £52m
Sterling £48m
Mudryk £89m

3 years gone & £320m spent, not one successful upgrade. Should’ve just kept captain America 🇺🇸
