If he now describes this meeting as an example of willingness to engage in dialogue, then German logic has clearly begun to limp under the current elites.

NEW: Yemen’s Houthis released footage they say shows the interception of a Royal Saudi Air Force Typhoon fighter jet.

Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said earlier that the jet, which took off from Taif air base, was hit by a surface-to-air missile over Yemen’s Saada province and may have crashed.

The claim has not been independently verified.

Russia's Foreign Minister Lavrov:

As for the diesel deal, this deal was proposed, and we supported it.

But Mr. Zelensky has already publicly stated more than once, I believe: "Stop bothering me with this diesel deal. Give me Patriot missiles instead. I need to continue striking Russia's energy sector, including oil refineries."

This is a direct challenge, and a rude one at that, to President Trump, who actively supported this deal and has publicly spoken about it more than once.

Russia's Foreign Minister Lavrov:

Zelensky believes that the whole world owes him something, while he owes absolutely nothing to anyone in return.

He is not prepared to take constructive steps that would be genuinely honest and based on equality.

EU leaders plan to urge Zelensky to tone down his public criticism of Trump, fearing his remarks could further strain relations between Kyiv and Washington.

“That may be true, but it is not always necessary to say it out loud,” one EU official said.

Trump has privately asked allies about replacing White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, amid frustration over poor polling.

Some of Wiles’ internal rivals have reportedly pushed for her removal, drawing Trump’s attention to negative reports about her family and associates.

Potential replacements include Stephen Miller, Steve Witkoff, Bill Pulte, Kevin McCarthy and Randy Levine.

Trump dismissed the report as “TOTAL FAKE NEWS,” saying Wiles retains his “COMPLETE confidence.”
