Zelensky:

I'm against any lifting of sanctions. I've always said this to European partners, and I've said it directly to the American administration.

I know that if you give something to Putin, he will want everything.

Trump:

Iran is doing everything they can to drive up the price of Oil prior to the U.S. Midterm Election.

They are even making up fake hits, mines, and everything else, because more Oil is coming through the Hormuz Strait now than it did even prior to the beginning of the Conflict.

They continue to kill protestors, and anyone else that happens to be in their way. It is truly an Evil Regime, and I can only hope the American Public, and the World, understands how EVIL they are!

It's very fascinating because in the United States, you will sometimes see people on the far left say, "Well, the solution to our social divisions is just to become more like Europe."

And yet, I think in Europe, you see that they have run the natural experiment, unfortunately, to its logical end.

And it doesn't lead to social solidarity. It actually leads to division and violence.

JD Vance on Russia diesel deal:

We saw an opportunity to lower diesel prices. One of the criticisms that you often hear about desanctioning Russia is that somehow it's going to—well, now the Russians are going to be able to sell their diesel fuel.

Well, that is an absurd argument in my view because, Raymond, they've always been able to sell their diesel fuel. They're just selling it at a massive discount to the People's Republic of China.

Meanwhile, our farmers and our consumers have suffered. Trump looked at that and said, "Why are we subsidizing foreign countries? We should make it easier for our own farmers to afford a good life."

And that's exactly what we're doing.

Trump:

JD Vance on Russia diesel deal:

I can assure you that they're not playing the president of the United States like a fiddle. He's very realistic about this.

The question is, are there ways to work with other countries, even adversarial nations, that can benefit the United States in the process?

And I think Trump recognizes that we could disagree with Russia about 50% of issues or even 90% of issues, but if there's a possibility to lower costs for American farmers, why wouldn't we take that opportunity?

Google illegally cut down an estimated 250,000 trees in northern Finland to build a data center, sparking national outrage.

The company cleared 330 hectares of forest near the town of Muhos without first completing the required environmental impact assessments.

Conservationists estimate another 150,000 trees were felled at a second site in Otanmäki.

Finland’s licensing authority ordered Google to stop work at both sites earlier this month.

The sites are part of a €13 billion AI infrastructure project, the largest of its kind in Finland.

JD Vance:

Yes, things are too expensive. Gas is too expensive, groceries are too expensive, but we also have to ask, have we made progress since we came in?

And I believe the answer to that is also yes.

JD Vance on Ukraine War:

Sometimes we find the Ukrainians are being a little bit more intransigent. Sometimes we find the Russians are being a little bit more intransigent.

But that's the job of diplomacy, is to engage in these things and try to solve problems.

JD Vance:

We were dug a hole by the Biden administration and congressional Democrats. We are digging ourselves out of that hole and building something new and better.

Don't give the shovel back to the people who dug the hole.

A German youth movement has called for mass protests in 21 cities on October 31, after unrest spread across France, Italy and Spain.

The initiative, called “Gen Z regelt” (“Gen Z’s Got It”), plans rallies in cities including Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Munich.

Organizers say they are protesting run-down schools, austerity, the cost of living, social injustice, military conscription and climate change.
