Fordow Strike: Only the GBU-57 Can Do It

A strike on Iran’s underground Fordow facility would require the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) — not the MOAB.

Why Not MOAB?
MOAB is an airburst thermobaric bomb designed for surface targets, not deep bunkers.
It lacks the penetration power to reach Fordow’s chambers buried 90+ meters deep.

Why MOP Is the Only Option:
30,000 lbs, precision-guided bomb.
Can pierce 60 feet of reinforced concrete or 200 feet of rock.
Delivered only by the B-2 stealth bomber — exclusive to the U.S.

How the Strike Would Work:
Stealth Entry: B-2 bombers evade radar and approach undetected.
Sequential Bombing: First MOP opens a deep crater; second penetrates and detonates inside.
Seismic Shock: The goal is not just to destroy equipment — but to collapse the mountain itself, sealing Fordow permanently.
