The last SR-71 Blackbird ever built has disappeared from its outdoor display at Edwards AFB.

NASA 844 โ€” the final Blackbird to fly (October 1999) โ€” was moved into a hangar earlier this year.

NASA won't say where it is or why.

NASA Administrator Isaacman recently showed a dark aircraft silhouette resembling an SR-71 while talking about getting "back in the business of flying high and fast again."

Asked if it was a Blackbird, he replied: "You sure that's a Blackbird?" NASA says it has "no additional information."

This is the most upgraded and best-preserved of the 32 SR-71s ever built.

A full return to flight would be extremely difficult โ€” JP-7 fuel infrastructure is gone and J58 engines are unique โ€” but using it as a high-speed research template is more plausible.

The plane that once cruised at Mach 3.2 above 80,000 feet is simply no longer sitting where everyone could see it.

Iranโ€™s UN Representative on Netanyahu:

The UN was founded to preserve peace and uphold justice, not to serve as a platform for war criminals.

How can a person who is currently facing proceedings before two international courts for war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide be allowed to be present in this assembly?

Does he belong at this podium to justify his crimes or in the dock of a court of law to answer for genocide?

Tรผrkiyeโ€™s UN Representative on Netanyahu:

The fact that numerous delegations walked out during Israeli prime minister's speech is not a minor gesture. It is a resounding diplomatic condemnation.

The message is unmistakable. His words are discredited. His policies are rejected and his isolation is deepening.

The international community does not tolerate listening to a morally bankrupt leader who stands under an arrest warrant for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

His fabrications are desperate. Hollow attempts to conceal Israel's genocide in Gaza and its relentless aggression in the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, and beyond. No propaganda can erase the truth.

Thousands of civilians have been slaughtered, homes and hospitals reduced to rubble, schools deliberately targeted, and the humanitarian aid obstructed with intent. These are crimes that will not be forgotten nor forgiven.

Tรผrkiyeโ€™s UN Representative:

Personal attacks and lies, no matter how loudly or frequently repeated, collapse under the weight of undeniable facts.

While Israel exports war, destruction, and instability, Tรผrkiye builds peace.

And Tรผrkiye remains steadfast in its support for the two-state solution, the only viable path to lasting peace. We will continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Palestinian people until an independent, sovereign, and contiguous state of Palestine is established on the basis of the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Nepal's PM Balen Shah:

We have built a world with flawless logistics for war and broken logistics for food.

And this is not Nepalโ€™s private misfortune. Ask Bangladesh, ask Bhutan, ask India, ask the Maldives, ask Pakistan, ask Sri Lanka, ask any other country in our region and youโ€™ll hear the same account.

Hit by the climate we did not warm and again hit by the wars we did not start.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan defended the Mecca Alliance against criticism that Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia were its โ€œfirst test.โ€

Fidan compared it to NATO, asking former U.S. Ambassador to Tรผrkiye James Jeffrey how many times NATOโ€™s Article 5 had been invoked. After Jeffrey answered โ€œonly once,โ€ Fidan said it was unfair to judge a new defense alliance using a 10-year conflict as evidence that it does not work.

โ€œNobody criticizes NATO as a paper tiger. But when it comes to a newborn defense alliance, they point to a 10-year crisis in Yemen and say, โ€˜Look, this is not working.โ€™ We have only just started.โ€

Argentinaโ€™s poverty rate rose to 32.3% in the first half of 2026, up from 28.2%, putting pressure on President Milei ahead of the 2027 election.

The Catholic University of Argentina estimates poverty could rise to 35% by the end of 2026.

While Mileiโ€™s austerity policies have sharply reduced inflation and stabilized public finances, cuts to subsidies and weak wage growth are putting pressure on households.

Mileiโ€™s government says it will maintain its austerity program, arguing fiscal discipline is needed for long-term growth.

Austrian FM Beate Meinl-Reisinger:

After years of bloodshed and suffering, it is obvious no one can bomb their way to peace.

We want a prosperous and safe Israel. But the same applies to the Palestinians and to Israelโ€™s neighbors.

Israelis and Palestinians deserve to live side by side in peace and security with a credible path to a two-state solution.

Any unilateral actions, including continued settlement expansions in the West Bank, only perpetuate the conflict and must be rejected.

Gulf states are divided over efforts to restart U.S.-Iran talks. Saudi Arabia and the UAE are urging the Trump administration to maintain economic pressure and sanctions on Tehran, while Qatar is pushing for negotiations, including a proposed seven-day pause in fighting to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Saudi Arabia argues Iran should face more pressure before any deal, citing attacks on Gulf shipping and Houthi actions in Yemen. Qatar and Oman support a phased reopening of Hormuz and a diplomatic solution.

Russian state news agency RIA Novosti published and later deleted an article threatening Lithuania with a โ€œshortโ€ war and possible nuclear strikes.

The article, titled โ€œRussia faces another special military operation. It will be very short,โ€ discussed scenarios of missile attacks on Lithuania.

The author, Alexander Nosovich, argued that Russia could use missiles with nuclear warheads instead of ground forces, claiming that a conflict in the Baltics would be quick due to geography.

RIA Novosti removed the article several hours after publication, later stating that it did not reflect the editorial line, editorial policy, or state policy of Russia.

The White House is adjusting its approach as Republicans face pressure ahead of the midterm elections.

Trump has allowed some Republicans to criticize his policies without attacking him personally, a shift from his usual demand for loyalty.

Campaigns are reportedly coordinating with the White House before taking different positions.
