We have a president now whom the Chinese respect.

Andy Burnham:

I know today's incident near RAF Fairford will be deeply concerning for local residents and for many people following developments across the country.

The investigation remains ongoing, and I would urge people not to speculate while the authorities establish the full facts.

Bessent on Iran:

There's only 15 million more barrels of Iranian oil on the water. Iran will have nothing left to trade for anything.

Probably within the next two weeks, they're going to make their final deliveries of oil to China, and then they will have nothing.

US Envoy to the UN Mike Waltz:

There has been not one, not two, but seven UN Security Council resolutions over the last 20 years saying Iran cannot, should not, and will not have a nuclear weapons program.

US Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle pushed Bulgaria and other Balkan countries to buy US LNG through a specific Greek company, Aktor.

Aktor's paid lobbyist Christos Marafatsos ($440K+ in fees) attended her diplomatic meetings, often mistaken by foreign officials for her chief of staff.

He wasn't disclosed as an Aktor lobbyist in meetings.

A $6 billion deal was secured in Albania.

Aktor estimates โ‚ฌ1.8B in pretax profit from signed LNG contracts over 20 years.

Competitor LNG companies say Guilfoyle ignored them:

She has her favorites.

Q: Is it true that Trump is preparing to resume military strikes after the midterms?

US Envoy to the UN Mike Waltz: Thatโ€™s anonymous reporting.

What I can tell you is the president will leave all options on the table to ensure the world is safe from Iran holding the world hostage with a nuclear weapon.

Bill Gates on Jeffrey Epstein:

I was told by Jeffrey, after I met him, that he could help raise billions of dollars for global health. He wouldnโ€™t be paid, he would have no role.

That proved to be a complete dead end. My spending time with him, like many other people, kind of helped his reputation. Thatโ€™s very regrettable.

US Envoy to the UN Mike Waltz on Iran:

Trump was quite clear in his speech before the UN that politics have nothing to do with this.

This is about keeping the next generation safe from Iran threatening the world with a nuclear weapon.

US Envoy to the UN Mike Waltz on Iran:

Why are they attacking international shipping? 146 countries have joined us, a UN record, in condemning Iranโ€™s attack on civilian shipping.

You canโ€™t start shooting at civilian shipping any more than you can shoot down civilian airliners because you are a party to a conflict.

Iran is just being condemned by the entire world, and they are in violation of international law across the board.

There were never any women in those meetings. Thereโ€™s nothing financially. Never went to the island or anything like that.

Trump:

The Supreme Court of the United States will just not let Missouri have an Election Victory. They continuously, three times now, overrule Judges who came to the correct decisions.

Thank you to the Governor, and all of the Great People of Missouri, who are fighting so hard for Fairness and Election Security. Such tremendous Spirit and Love of our Country.

I won Missouri BIG, all three times, and I couldnโ€™t be more proud of doing so. A great place โ€” I love you all!

The fact that in the Florida case the government failed to have a penalty and they failed to see things that were ongoing, thatโ€™s an incredible failure of the justice system.

Swiss voters overwhelmingly rejected a proposal to tighten the countryโ€™s neutrality rules, with about 70% voting against it.

The initiative would have defined neutrality as โ€œperpetual and armed,โ€ restricted cooperation with military alliances such as NATO, and allowed sanctions against countries at war only with UN Security Council approval.

The result preserves Switzerlandโ€™s current approach, allowing it to cooperate on security and impose sanctions while remaining outside military alliances.

AI is not just a new technology. This is truly an evolutionary event.

We have created an intelligent species that, in many respects, is already smarter than we are, and over the next several years, at kind of exponentially improving level, will be insanely smarter than we are.

Bill Gates on AI:

AI is certainly powerful enough to drive events that cause a billion deaths.

Even though itโ€™s pretty hard to get to 100%, thereโ€™s never been a weapon as powerful as the combination of people with ill intent using the latest AI tools.

And itโ€™s great that thereโ€™s this discussion, with the industry almost against their interest admitting these things.

The problem is that the rest of the world is either discounting this or just thinking of this as a competition.

And itโ€™s very scary that we donโ€™t have all of the thinkers saying, "How do we want to shape this?"

Bill Gates on AI:

The most dangerous thing weโ€™re facing right now is people with bad intent using the AI. So somebody who wants to defraud an individual, or wants to shut down the electric network, or scramble bank accounts โ€” they are now empowered.

Historically, countries had cyberattack teams and they could think of things like bioterror weapons. Now small groups with AI can do what only the biggest countries could do.

So itโ€™s really the bad intent plus AI that looms as a major threat unless governments insist on various safeguards.

We will see a lot of big negative things because weโ€™re not safeguarding.
