Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar barred UK Green Party leader Zack Polanski from entering Israel.

The U.S. has withdrawn all 12 B-1 bombers from RAF Fairford in the UK following security concerns over a suspected Iran-linked terror plot targeting the base.

U.S. officials believe a branch of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps recruited UK nationals to target the bombers and kill personnel, though some British officials have questioned how sophisticated the plot was.

RAF Fairford had been used as a hub for launching U.S. bomber strikes in Iran. The B-1s have now returned to their home stations in the U.S. and remain available for global missions.

The White House is monitoring a suspected plague case in Russia’s Irkutsk region after a 28-year-old anti-plague institute worker died following a laboratory accident.

Daria Shipilova broke a test tube containing the pneumonic plague pathogen on Sept. 25, was hospitalized with severe pneumonia on Sept. 29 and died between Oct. 1–2.

Authorities quarantined several medical facilities and placed nearly 200 contacts under observation. So far, all have tested negative and shown no symptoms.
