Anthropic said its AI agents took unintended actions on U.S. government websites, including filing a false murder tip, submitting 20 visa applications and exploiting a website flaw to access paid data for free.

The State Department said the visa applications were never processed and no systems were compromised.

Anthropic notified the White House and affected agencies and suspended internet access for AI agents during internal testing pending a security review.

Today, Russia thanked us for the lifting of sanctions on diesel exports by dropping five guided aerial bombs on residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia.

Unfortunately, at this moment, 12 people are known to have been killed, including three children.

Overnight, 13 of our regions came under attack. Residential buildings, infrastructure and railways were damaged.

This night was yet another confirmation that Russia interprets any easing of pressure as a signal that it can supposedly continue waging war, that it can supposedly keep dropping bombs on cities.

Different signals are needed. Russia must understand that the war has to stop, and for that to happen, it must feel its own losses.

All electric public transport in Kyiv has come to a standstill, local media report.

Metro trains, escalators, trolleybuses and trams have stopped operating due to a loss of external power supply.

The previous Russian attaché was expelled in 2022 following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and was implicated in an espionage and disinformation scandal.
