NEW: The U.S. military has developed plans to potentially use the “mother of all bombs” (MOAB), its most powerful non-nuclear bomb, against Iranian energy infrastructure and nuclear sites, including Pickaxe Mountain, before or after the midterm elections.

Officials doubt the bomb could destroy deeply buried nuclear facilities but say it could serve as a psychological weapon, allowing Trump to claim a symbolic victory and withdraw U.S. forces without restarting a full-scale war.

The Trump administration is considering easing sanctions on shadow fleet tankers previously used to transport Russian, Iranian and Venezuelan oil to reduce record-high shipping costs.

The proposal would allow sanctioned vessels to carry non-sanctioned oil with U.S. Treasury approval, but officials say it would not benefit Russian oil exports.

The U.S. has proposed unfreezing some Russian sovereign assets and transferring them to a Washington-controlled fund to help revive Ukraine peace talks.

The proposal, presented by Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner during talks in Miami last week, was rejected by European officials, who opposed surrendering control of the assets or returning any to Moscow.

Around €260 billion in Russian assets remain frozen, mostly in the EU.

The Trump administration is investigating Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar in an effort to strip her of U.S. citizenship and deport her.

Federal agents searched her Washington home, seizing her passport, phone and computers, while relatives were subpoenaed.

Investigators are examining whether her age was falsified in citizenship paperwork, allowing her to obtain citizenship automatically through her father in 2000.

This evening, I spoke to my military people after they again killed people today, after such a massive attack.

Zelensky:

We got [a message saying], "Don't attack, because maybe you will have problems with intelligence."

I can say that they said there were technological problems at some level.

But at the military level, before that, they said that if we did not stop, they would block intelligence.

When it comes together with Starlink's decision, which was 100% a decision of the American side, it creates huge problems.

Zelensky:

I said to my military people that during the energy ceasefire, we would not attack Russian refineries or anything connected with diesel.

Because even if we are right, and we are right, somebody will say that we broke the energy ceasefire. I don't want to play this game.

That's why, for three days, we didn't attack any of Russia's energy or diesel infrastructure.

And for three days, they attacked us.

Zelensky:

We don't want to be involved in some diesel deal. I don't want to be involved.

If he attacks us, we will respond. This is our rule. Don't involve us in some diesel deals.

Zelensky:

The question is: Can you give me missiles for Patriot?

Because when I don't attack them, because you asked me not to attack them, they will attack me.

It's fair if you give me something with which to defend myself. That's the minimum I'm asking for.

And when I'm asking this, your answer is blocking Starlink.

Q: Marine Le Pen said she would stop financing Ukraine within six months of winning the French presidency.

Zelensky: I think the experience of our army, technologically, is very important for our partners.

French industry can only win with these technologies, with this cooperation and co-production.

I think Madame Le Pen is not deeply familiar with some of the details. Ukraine will give back security and experience.

NEW: North Korea test-fired two types of submarine-launched cruise missiles from a submerged submarine in the Sea of Japan, marking the first weapons test from its largest sub.

The test used the Hero Kim Kun Ok — a modified Romeo-class diesel sub with ~10 vertical launch tubes, commissioned in 2023 but untested until now.

One missile was fired from a vertical launch system, the other from a torpedo tube.

South Korea’s military said it tracked both launches from start to finish.

Netanyahu and Smotrich plan to deploy 2,000 observers at Arab polling stations in the 2026 elections, citing alleged voter fraud in previous elections.

However, Israel’s Central Elections Committee dismissed similar Likud claims as baseless, warning that sending police to Arab polling stations could spark unrest.
