Marco Rubio:

Starlink is a commercial product. It's regulated and handled as a commercial product.

Starshield is a defense product, a military product. That is something that the United States military uses.

It's not at this moment available to Ukraine, and that's under discussion right now, how they would want to use it.

Q: Did the U.S. have anything to do with Starlink not working in Ukraine at the moment? Zelensky said it was deliberate.

Rubio: I don't know what Zelensky said. I'm not sure Zelensky knows what he's talking about, but it wasn't deliberate.

We had nothing to do with it. Nobody ordered Starlink's speed to be slowed down.

It sort of happened. But my understanding is it's been restored. It's back to where it was before.

Marco Rubio:

I know Ukraine wants access to Starshield. They do not have Starshield now.

They've asked for access to it in order to conduct deep strikes inside of Russia.

Marco Rubio on Ukraine:

No one at the White House ordered anyone to slow down internet or slow down speed so that certain drones couldn't use it.

But my understanding is it's back up and running.

Q: On the sanctions waivers on Russia, Senator Ted Cruz today called it a big mistake that only serves to benefit Putin. I'm wondering what your response is to that.

Rubio: The problem is these sanctions were not just sanctions on Russia. They include tariffs on a number of countries, India, for example, and others.

And so I think the president wants to take the 60-day period of time to sort of analyze what imposing both sanctions and tariffs will mean to the global economy and even to the U.S. economy.

I think when the bill was passed, one of the reasons the waivers were put in there was the understanding that they would need some period of time to study this, given all the different things that are going on in the world right now.

Q: There's a criticism that we're basically giving Putin something for nothing. We're giving Putin these freebies. What's your response?

Rubio: That diesel is going to be sold one way or the other.

The diesel that Putin was going to sell, they were going to make it available to the global market one way or the other.

The only difference is how much of it the United States was going to get.

Q: I'd like to ask you about violence in the West Bank. My colleague was attacked there yesterday.

Rubio: I saw that. We're very disturbed by those images and what we're seeing.

We've asked the Israelis and continue to ask them to crack down on that stuff.

Trump does not want to see friction or any crisis going on in the West Bank.

It was an American reporter, maybe a photojournalist, who was caught behind where some of these groups came in and was beaten, and there was video of that.

The whole thing was just disturbing. Not a good look.

Q: One of the first decisions Trump took was to lift sanctions against the settlers.

Rubio: Lifting sanctions does not mean he's a supporter of what he's seeing now on television, what he's reading about.

He doesn't want to see what's happening now.

Marco Rubio:

Trump doesn't want to see a crisis in the West Bank.

We don't need that right now. Israel doesn't need that right now.

Abdul El-Sayed on Iran:

War in Iran. Everybody could have told you this is a dumb idea.

There was really only one person in the whole world who's had a 40-year project to get us to fight this war.

He's a prime minister of another government.

And he finally found the dumbass who was willing to do it.

Abdul El-Sayed:

We're paying $5,600 on average for a vanity tariff project that Donald Trump decided he wanted because Mark Carney is cooler than he is.

Donald Trump and JD Vance can't seem to keep my name out their mouth.

The tough part, of course, is that they don't really know what my name is. They certainly don't know how to say it.

But it really doesn't matter because we're going to force them to learn how to say it with the word senator in front of it in November.

Q: Will you disavow the Muslim Brotherhood?

Abdul El-Sayed: Yes. Why are you asking the question? Do you assume that I wouldn’t?

Q: Yes, because I have not heard you disavow them yet.

El-Sayed: Have you disavowed them? I have not heard you disavow them yet.

Israeli Diaspora Affairs Minister says a civil war has begun in France.

He says Belgium and Britain are next.

Netanyahu:

The moral armpit of the world is when Hamas keeps civilians at gunpoint and says, "You should not leave combat zones."

Hamas keeps civilians at gunpoint. That's how we got the civilian casualties.

And who is being accused? Israel. Crazy.

We are not on stolen land. This is our historical homeland.

We're the indigenous people here. We're not the Dutch in Indonesia.

We're Jews from Judea.

Netanyahu:

We're not a colonialist enterprise. We're the "original owners" of our land.

This is our land.

Netanyahu on Europe:

Europeans are mediocre in so many ways.

Netanyahu:

Iranians are building intercontinental ballistic missiles to reach the U.S., and they want those missiles to carry nuclear warheads.

Every single city in the U.S. will be held hostage.

Netanyahu:

Iran would be a nuclear power unlike any other we've seen in the world because they don't have this careful calculus of cost and benefit.
