Germanyโ€™s Chancellor Merz:

A surrender, or even an unconditional surrender, for Ukraine is not an option, because this would be a surrender of all of us.

Current and former Pentagon officials are ready to give Congress damaging information about Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

Democrats have already contacted potential whistleblowers.

They plan to investigate Hegseth if they win the House in Novemberโ€™s midterms, as widely expected.

They intend to subpoena his inner circle, including his wife and top aide Ricky Buria.

Forced-out officials such as former Army Secretary Dan Driscoll could also testify.

One source said officials would quietly โ€œspill their gutsโ€ to the Armed Services Committee.

Investigators are expected to focus on the Signalgate leak, missile interceptor shortages in the Iran war, strikes on alleged drug boats, and Pentagon contracts.

A Democratic lawmaker said the eventual goal is impeachment.

But conviction requires two-thirds of the Senate, and no cabinet secretary has ever been convicted.

Some believe Trump is more likely to fire Hegseth to stop the flow of embarrassing stories.

Trump:

Numerous people, who requested that sanctions be immediately imposed on Russia, have called to apologize to President Trump in that they didnโ€™t know that he was negotiating the release of Stephen Hubbard, a truly big and important deal for the U.S. If sanctions would have been placed, certainly those negotiations would have come to a complete and total halt.

They should go FULL BLAST!!! This will make the U.K. very wealthy again. TAKE DOWN THE COSTLY AND RIDICULOUS WINDMILLS!

Ursula von der Leyen is a hypocrite.

Sanctions for Russia. โ€œConcernโ€ for Gaza.

Secret texts with Pfizer. Private jets while preaching climate.

And sheโ€™ll be running Europe until 2029.

Germanyโ€™s Chancellor Merz:

We had a surplus from Germany to the world for decades, but this was the case because our competitiveness was so overwhelming.

R&D was great. Our companies are still great, and they can compete.

Germanyโ€™s Chancellor Merz:

We do not close our markets. This is the opposite of what the U.S. is doing.

The U.S. market is closed for most Chinese companies. This is not the case in Europe.

We are open and we want to remain open.

We want to keep on having open markets and trade. That is the difference between Europe and the U.S.

Fox News Correspondent Peter Doocy:

It sounds like Elon Musk just has issues with the way that technology he invented and that he controls is being used.

He thinks, based on his public statement, Elon Musk believes that these commercial products are being used essentially for offensive military operations, which is against the law. He does not want that.

He thinks it's bad for business. He might have throttled it.

Bill Clinton on Mark Carney:

I'm tired of treating our allies like they're dirt.

The prime minister of Canada has been a friend of mine for a long time. We got to know each other having virtually nothing to do with politics.

He's about the most well-qualified leader in the world. He's been head of the banks of both the UK and Canada.

And we have the gall to suggest that they should become the 51st state.

I'm tired of people denigrating Muslims for being Muslims.

The Quran says, and I first heard this from my daughter, who read the Quran from start to finish when she was 15 years old, and she said, "Read this."

Allah put the different people on the earth not that they might despise one another, but that they might come to know one another and learn from one another.

There are bad actors in every faith because we're all flawed human beings.

But the religious wars, the culture wars, I'm just tired.

Bill Clinton:

This is our 250th anniversary.

We spent those years trying to build a more perfect union.

We've done wonderful things. We've done terrible things. We've done stupid things.

And because we've had the courage to course correct, we've still made progress toward a more perfect union.

Still, we have a lot of work left to do.
