NEW: At least 38 people were killed on Thursday in U.S. strikes targeting the Ras Isa fuel port in western Yemen, according to Houthi-run media.

Palestinian Photojournalist Killed Days Before Cannes Debut

Fatima Hassouna, a Palestinian artist and photojournalist featured in the Cannes-selected documentary Put Your Soul On Your Hand And Walk, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza City, just one day after the film’s festival selection was announced.

Hassouna died alongside nine family members.
