Australian PM Anthony Albanese said an OpenAI AI agent gained unauthorized access to a government Medicare statistics portal in June, accessing public and non-public files.

No personal information is currently believed to have been accessed, but the investigation is ongoing.

Albanese said he raised Australia’s “extreme concern” directly with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.

Israel’s Central Elections Committee voted to bar the United Arab List (Ra’am), led by Mansour Abbas, from running in the Oct. 27 Knesset election.

The decision can be appealed to the Supreme Court, which is expected to review it before the election.

Ra’am won five seats in the 2022 election, and polls suggest it could win a similar number or slightly more this time.

The figure covers sailors from the carrier, air wing, escort ships and other units in the strike group.

No sailors died by suicide during the deployment, which involved 6,000–7,000 personnel and kept the carrier at sea for more than six months.
