Israel’s “Blue Line” team is redrawing land boundaries in the occupied West Bank, reclassifying Palestinian land as Israeli “state land” that can later be used for settlement expansion.

Israel says the team corrects historic mapping errors, while Palestinian officials and the UN say the process has expanded Israeli state property and accelerated in 2026.

Palestinians in several villages say land has been seized, olive trees uprooted and access restricted as Israeli control over Area C expands.

Riyadh schools have switched to remote learning for a week on orders from Saudi authorities, with no official reason given.

The decision came a day after Saudi air defenses intercepted two Houthi drones targeting Riyadh, amid escalating Houthi attacks on the Kingdom.
