Trump on Zohran Mamdani:
I like him, I think he’s great, but I think his policies are crazy.
You can’t have wealthy people leave. You can’t have companies that employ tens or thousands of people leave and go to Florida, Texas.
You’ve got to fight those companies that cherish—you’ve got to fight to keep them. And nobody’s doing that. I’ve never seen anything like it.
But I do—I like him, but I think his policies are not good.

Q: There have been repeated reports that Netanyahu was warned prior to Oct. 7 about the possibility of an attack.
Trump: I heard that today for the first time.
Q: Reports say Egypt warned him, and the UAE warned him.
Trump: I don't think so. I think if he would have known, he would have done something about it.

Q: If Gadi Eisenkot were to win the election in Israel, could the U.S. work better with him than Netanyahu?
Trump: Well, I don't know. I don't hear bad things about him... You think he's leading?
Q: He's the leading opposition candidate.
Trump: Well, people have written off Bibi many, many times, just like they've written off me many, many times. I wouldn't underestimate Bibi.

Biden gave away massive amounts of munitions to Ukraine. Much more so than what we spent, and—but we're in great shape.
And we're in great shape, but we're also now stocking up big and making—and we're keeping it. You know, we'll get it out to others, you know, our allies.

Q: Would you rule out declaring a state of emergency in the lead up to the midterms unless there's widespread violence in the streets?
Trump: I don't rule anything out or in. We'll see. You mean the Insurrection Act?
Q: Yeah.
Trump: I've never used it. I could use it. A lot of people think I should use it sometimes.

French authorities detained 625 people as high school protests over teacher shortages, class sizes, long schedules and poor conditions escalated into clashes with police.
The protests, which began around Paris and spread nationwide, affected 356 schools. At least 83 police and gendarmes and 119 students and staff have been injured since the unrest began.
President Macron condemned the violence, while students said they were protesting for better conditions, not vandalism.

Labour officials under Keir Starmer say Britain could face around £5 billion a year in extra costs if a future government tried to rejoin the EU, largely because the UK would likely lose Margaret Thatcher’s budget rebate.
Officials believe the EU would not require Britain to join Schengen or adopt the euro, but freedom of movement would be non-negotiable.
Rejoining the EU or entering a customs union could also undermine post-Brexit trade deals.
Both UK and EU officials are privately sceptical of Andy Burnham’s suggestion that he could reverse Brexit, while Brussels is also wary of continued changes in British policy.

Three Liberian-flagged oil tankers were hit by unknown projectiles while crossing the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, according to shipping intelligence firm Marisks.
The vessels — Al Ruwais, Mersin Prosperity and Sinbad — had switched off their tracking transponders to avoid detection.
Two of the tankers had recently conducted ship-to-ship transfers off Oman, while Sinbad had loaded refined products in Saudi Arabia.

Chinese hackers impersonated U.S. AI experts and former officials in phishing emails targeting people working on AI policy, regulation and export controls, according to Proofpoint.
The hackers sent fake collaboration offers that led to password-stealing websites. Fewer than 10 people were targeted.
Proofpoint said the campaign appeared focused on gathering intelligence about U.S. AI policymaking rather than simply stealing technology.
