Mecca Defense Alliance (Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Pakistan) announces immediate activation of its mutual defense commitments, including rapid deployment of military forces and capabilities to Saudi Arabia.

A classified CIA “Red Cell” assessment from August reportedly warns that Israel could face serious civil conflict or even state breakdown as political, economic and social pressures intensify ahead of the October 27 election.

The report points to rising military spending, the cost-of-living crisis, anger over ultra-Orthodox military exemptions, settler violence in the West Bank, political paralysis around Netanyahu, and large numbers of heavily armed veterans returning from prolonged wars.

It also identifies growing international isolation and weakening U.S. public support as risks, and considers scenarios in which foreign technology companies withdraw investment, regional normalization efforts weaken, or Hamas and Hezbollah exploit domestic instability.

One U.S. intelligence source described Israel as potentially “one spark away from real internal conflict.”

Germany plans to build a new major naval base in Emden as it expands its navy amid rising security threats.
