Germany plans to build a new major naval base in Emden as it expands its navy amid rising security threats.

The base will give Germany faster access to the North Sea and North Atlantic, strengthen NATO deterrence and ease pressure on Wilhelmshaven.

Expected to cost several billion euros, it could host up to 2,000 military and civilian personnel and become fully operational by 2030.

Trump: When I travel there, their numbers go way up.

Trump: It will all work out very well.

Q: Do you think there's a risk that Iran has brought combat drones into the UK?

Trump: I can't tell you that. If they did that they'll suffer greatly.

Trump: She's a very fine woman. She gave me her Nobel Prize because she knew I earned it. It's all gonna work out.

Q: What was the threat that prompted you to move those planes out of the UK?

Trump: We had an idea that there might be a threat, and why would I leave them there? We had a threat. We know the people who made the threat.

Q: Are you concerned about the plague outbreak in Russia?

Trump: That's a disease we used to be able to control. But somehow those microbes have gotten stronger and smarter. They're like an army. We will help Russia.

Q: Is the UK still a safe space for U.S. forces?

Trump: I think it is, and I have a very good relationship with your new prime minister. He's liberal, very liberal, but I hear he's gonna open up North Sea oil. If he does that, you're gonna have a rich country.

Q: What is the U.S. going to do about the risk of plague coming from Russia?

Trump: We're looking at it very strongly. The microbes and the germs have gotten stronger. We will help Russia.

Trump:

We're bringing out record amounts of oil in the Hormuz Strait. One of the problems we have is the refineries in Russia are being hit pretty hard.

That's a problem, but it's all working out very well.
