Trump: That's a disease we used to be able to control. But somehow those microbes have gotten stronger and smarter. They're like an army. We will help Russia.

Trump:

We're bringing out record amounts of oil in the Hormuz Strait. One of the problems we have is the refineries in Russia are being hit pretty hard.

That's a problem, but it's all working out very well.

Q: On Flydubai, do you think Iran was responsible for that attack?

Trump: I do.

The U.S. evacuated 12 B-1 bombers from RAF Fairford in the UK after intelligence indicated a possible Iranian drone attack on the base.

British authorities had also arrested several dual British-Iranian citizens suspected of planning an attack, though U.S. officials said it was unclear whether the cases were connected.

Trump confirmed the bombers were moved because of an Iranian security threat, contradicting Rubio, who had initially described the move as a routine rotation.

The Conservative Party in the UK has unveiled plans for a £10 billion air and missile defense system dubbed the “Britannia Shield,” modelled partly on Israel’s Iron Dome.

The system would combine advanced radar, upgraded command systems, interceptor missiles and counter-drone technology, while significantly increasing Britain’s missile stockpiles.

Shadow defense secretary James Cartlidge said it would protect critical infrastructure, military bases, UK territories and overseas bases, with an initial deployable capability planned within the first term of a future Conservative government.
