TODAY, January 6, is a very special day for all Christians, as it marks the Feast of the Epiphany (the last day of the 12 Days of Christmas). But for AMERICAN CHRISTIANS it is an especially painful and bittersweet day, as it reminds us to worship JESUS CHRIST the KING OF KINGS, and not the government, as the Democrats would have us do in their sacrilegious portrayal of the 2021 so-called “insurrection” against their “sacred” and “hallowed halls” of the Capitol Building. Stop and really consider what the Democrats are saying here. They are using religious terms to refer to government buildings, and by extension, deifying the acts of Congress that go on inside there. MY RESPONSE: I have loved my country, many, many times, when my candidates lost, and when my most treasured values were tossed aside in an election. I still love my country and never stopped. My disgust over the 2020 election is not about losing. It's about cheating. That is what I cannot tolerate. That is what I cannot accept. And no American should ever accept it. When Democrats call for “unity,” what the really want us to do is sacrifice our freedoms and our prosperity. When Liberal Christians (whether Catholics or Protestants) call for “unity” what they really want us to do is sacrifice our orthodoxy and our traditions. The word “unity” is a rallying cry for the Left (both political and religious) to coerce their opponents into surrendering the things they cherish most. I’ve been around for half a century folks, that’s long enough to learn about the Left, and the tricks of their trade.

We are now in the throes of the last, great “hurrah,” for the Catholic Church of the 1970s. The clergy ordained during that time, including Pope Francis, and the elderly laypeople who support them, will NOT let their era of folk masses and liberal theology quietly pass into the night. THIS, right now, is their final attempt to impose their legacy on the Church of tomorrow. It’s not working.

Based on the information Project Veritas just put out, right before they were banned from Twitter, it looks like SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, is the product of joint American-Chinese research into “gain of function” experiments on bat viruses. Bottom line is this. The US and China made COVID-19 together!

On the one hand, the case can be made in favor of this when we consider events like the Oklahoma City Bombing, the Unibomber and the Atlanta Olympics Bombing. One could even make the case of using such an office to break up Antifa. So, I get it. However, on the other hand, the potential for the abuse of such an office is so great, I’m not sure it’s even possible to avoid. So that’s frightening.

FoxNews now has more viewers than CNN and MSNBC combined! Now, I’m not cheerleading for FoxNews. I don’t watch television. So this means nothing to me on a personal level. However, I do recognize that this represents a fundamental paradigm shift for the average, American, couch potato. We are it the process if witnessing a dramatic tilt to the center-right for the whole nation, and the national viewing shift toward FoxNews reflects that. It’s not where we need to be, as a nation, but it is a baby-step in the right direction.

I am thankful to have come to spiritual maturity in the Catholic Church during a time when we had good popes who were orthodox. Pope Saint John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI (especially the latter) brought me happiness and pride in my Church. I long for those days again.
