🗞Meta works on sending WhatsApp messages via Ray-Ban smart glasses voice assistant
You can send WhatsApp messages using your voice along with a digital assistant, it’s not a particularly new feature, but you would have to take your phone out of your pocket first to do so. That could change in the future where you might be able to send WhatsApp messages through Meta’s Ray-Ban Stories smart glasses.
This is according to an APK teardown by XDA Developers in which they discovered strings in the app that make references to the feature. Apparently this will work through Facebook Assistant, which for those unfamiliar is Facebook’s kind-of-forgotten take on digital assistants.
By using Facebook Assistant, users will be able to send messages through the Ray-Ban Stories smart glasses without having to reach for their phone. The Ray-Ban Stories is Meta’s own smart glasses that they created in partnership with Ray-Ban. Given that the glasses already feature the use of Facebook Assistant.

💡Protect Yourself From Viruses
Windows users have long known the pain of viruses and other malware, but the good news is it’s pretty easy to avoid. First, we recommend learning the difference between viruses, trojans, and other kinds of attacks, as well as the myths surrounding them. Then, install some good, free antivirus software to protect yourself (Avast is our current favorite, but Bitdefender is a slightly less nerdy, equally secure option). You can even get antivirus for your Android phone, if you so choose. But in the end, the best way to avoid viruses is to use common sense: don’t open links that look suspicious, don’t install programs from untrusted sources, and if a window pops up saying your computer’s infected, make sure it’s actually your antivirus software saying that and not a fake web page.

🗞WhatsApp Beta now lets you change your preferred language in-app, beating Android 13 to it
WhatsApp is the most popular communication platform in many parts of the world. A lot of people living in multilingual areas rely on the app, too, with them often seamlessly switching between languages and dialects in everyday life. Phones and technology don't make that process so easy, though, with rigid language selection options and inflexible system-wide defaults. The latest beta version of WhatsApp is looking to change that. It now allows you to pick your preferred language independently of the one set for your whole smartphone.
As first spotted by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp beta version 2.22.9.13 introduced the language switcher to the first few testers, with version 2.22.10.2 rolling it out much more widely. We’ve been able to corroborate the findings on version 2.22.9.13 ourselves, with WhatsApp allowing us to switch to a different language.

🗞Google Tests New Drop Down Navigation Bar From Google
testing a new top bar navigation bar that may replace the navigation bar we have today.
As you can see, there is a little arrow down mark on the right of the Google + logo. Clicking on it drops down this black bar with the various Google logos.
What you cannot see in this image, but in the images shared by guao.hk is the new sharing section of the bar on the top right.
I am not sure if this interface is a test just for the Google + design or for the global Google top bar. I guess time will tell.
I would think many users wouldn’t notice that little down arrow and miss the other navigation and services options offered by Google.
