Our thoughts are these are orchestrated by malicious parties who wish to bring legitimacy to their group before scamming their users, having an AMA by credible projects brings legitimacy. We arent 100% sure but we can say this increase in requests is highly unusual. This sets a dangerous precedent but a difficult situation indeed. If US bans applications it doesn't like then telegram could well be within its firing line. Tiktok collects information on users including keystrokes sending data back to the Chinese government, tiktok is banned in China, the better option here is education & building a competitor, after all nobody wants all their data to be stored by any government.
