Dear Bitcoin community, as some of your may have heard, Morgan Rockwall aka @Nodefather on Twitter has recently been arrested and charged with 2 counts - money laundering and “operation of an unlicensed money transmitting business”. This was all do to a sale of 9.9 btc in November 2016 to a federal undercover agent.

The claims are completely ridicules and Morgan was entrapped and set up in an attempt to scare people from using bitcoin. He isn’t the only case but this one is the most notorious, and its implications may set a precedent (for good or bad) on these sort of bitcoin sales.

Morgan has so far raised about 12.5 BTC and need to raise an additional 2.5 to pay for his legal defense. He has no access to his Poloniex account (lost 2fa when they took his cell) or his cold storage and is looking for a donation or even a loan as he needs to pay his lawyer ASAP.

Please people, lets open our hearts and pockets to raise the missing funds and support this guy who’s dedicated his life to bitcoin. This could have happened to any of us and this guy is NOT a criminal and shouldn’t need to represent himself.
