Orca has handled $550B+ in volume since 2021, Loopscale has $150M+ in deposits and $2B+ in loans.

Starknet already runs on ZK-STARKs and has a migration roadmap to post-quantum signatures, but as an L2 it inherits Ethereum’s security, and Ethereum targets full quantum resistance only by the end of 2029. Its own L1 would let Starknet control security upgrades instead of waiting for Ethereum or Bitcoin.

Only a time-limited wind-down is allowed: selling, converting, withdrawing, transferring or holding existing tokens. The opinion names no tokens, but CoinDesk points to Tether’s USDT and PayPal’s PYUSD as prominent examples.
