Following El Salvador, Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan urged the country's central bank to explore crypto assets while highlighting the lack of crypto adoption in Eastern Africa.

She expects the central bank to "be ready for the changes and not be caught unprepared.”

Hassan's remarks follow several Latin legislators' calls for further crypto adoption in other emerging economies.

Judging by the current scenario, we can expect many more legislations to start exploring and even accepting crypto, or at the least recognizing it as an asset class.

David Fadairo, a young Nigerian player with Alki Oroklini Cyprus football club, became the first soccer player whose transfer was paid 100% in cryptocurrencies.

The payment was made using TheFutbolCoin a native token for TheFutbolApp, an economic ecosystem for football fans.

This is a major milestone that marks the perfect convergence of the #crypto industry and sports.

This would also act as an entry point for millions of fans out there who would be discovering #cryptocurrencies for the first time.

We can expect more players to follow suit.

According to crypto market data aggregator Santiment, wallets holding between 100 and 10,000 BTC now constitute the largest category of Bitcoin hodlers, accounting for 48.7 percent of Bitcoin's supply.

These addresses have accumulated 90,000 more $BTC in the last 25 days.

The current buying frenzy has pushed the millionaire addresses' Bitcoin holdings to a seven-week high, with the addresses representing more than 9.11 million BTC.

Meanwhile, Glassnode found that weekly bitcoin outflows from miner addresses have reduced to $1.7 million.

It is evident that whales and miners are accumulating Bitcoin as it attempts to break past $40,000.

Could the days of accumulation fuel the next $BTC rally?

Deputy Carlos Antonio Rejala Helman of Paraguay's Hagamos Party is the latest to announce that he is working on bitcoin legislation to be introduced next month.

The announcement follows in the footsteps of El Salvador and its pro-bitcoin president Nayab Bukele.

The deputy is working on a measure that would seek to legalize cryptocurrency payments in Paraguay.

The bill states that Bitcoin can be used for any transactions carried out within national borders.

He has also incorporated Lases eyes in support for BTC.

El Salvador seems to have started a trend as several regulators have spoken in favor of the world's largest cryptocurrency. Its only a matter of time before the rest of the world steps in.

Which nation do you think is next?

The development follows El Salvadors plans to power Bitcoin mining operations using Volcanic energy.

Mexico's third-richest man Ricardo Salinas Pliego wants his bank to be the first bank in the nation that accepts Bitcoin.

He is the founder and chairman of Grupo Salinas, a Mexican corporate conglomerate.

Salinas a major Bitcoin proponent and has more than 10% of his liquid portfolio in Bitcoin.

The development is quite ironic, but it seems the divide between banks and cryptocurrencies, in general, is narrowing down as more banking institutions get exposure to Crypto.

The growing demand for Cryptocurrencies in India is evident from the fact that investments in the new asset class have grown from $200 million to $40 billion over the past year.

This is despite the central bank's hostility towards the asset class and rumors of a trading ban.

Young Indian investors seem to be shunning Gold, which had been the popular choice until now, with Indian households owning more than 25,000 tonnes of gold.

Experts believe this is because Cryptocurrencies are easily accessible to retail investors.

This leads us to speculate about the age-old question asked; Will Bitcoin replace gold as a safe haven asset?

DAILY NEWS: US Senator Cynthia Lummis wants to see crypto-assets added to diversified retirement plans for US residents.

In a recent interview with CNBC, She expressed concerns about the risks of inflation posed by government spending and money printing.

"I worry about having all of our retirement monies denominated in U.S. dollars. As part of diversification, having a very diverse asset allocation, you don't have all your eggs in one basket. I think one of the strongest stores of value for the long run is bitcoin," she said.

It's not just the senator. Over the years, major corporations and investment funds are also cranking up their Crypto exposure.

At the pace the industry is currently expanding, Cryptocurrencies could soon be a common household name.
