#ETH staking patterns resemble the pre-surge phase before prices rose from $1,600 to nearly $4,900.
Analysts suggest a potential parabolic rally if history repeats, though a final shakeout below $1,700 could precede major gains.
Historical patterns don't guarantee results, but rising staking signals bullish long-term confidence by reducing liquid supply and reflecting investor trust.

The crypto market is showing mixed price action today, with Bitcoin holding above $64.5K while the total market capitalisation remains near $2.28 trillion.
Ethereum has moved back above $1.9K, but BNB and Solana are showing slightly weaker momentum.
Overall market capitalisation is marginally higher, although the recovery remains uneven.
Sentiment has fallen to Extreme Fear at 25, showing that traders remain highly cautious despite Bitcoin holding its recent gains.
Derivatives activity remains elevated.
Open interest stands near $111.8 billion, while approximately $348 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours points to another significant round of leverage being removed from the market.
For now, Bitcoin holding above $64K is constructive, but the market still needs stronger volume and broader participation from altcoins before a more convincing recovery can be confirmed.

Is this real adoption—or simply tighter government oversight?

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a landmark law establishing a regulated cryptocurrency market in Russia.
Under the new framework:
• Retail investors will be allowed to buy selected liquid cryptocurrencies
• Investors must first pass a suitability test
• Purchases will be limited to 300,000 rubles—around $3,700—per year through each intermediary
• Qualified investors will be able to buy any crypto asset without limits
• Exchanges, brokers and custodians must register and meet regulatory requirements
However, Russia is not recognizing crypto as everyday money.
Using cryptocurrency to pay for goods and services inside the country will remain prohibited, while crypto settlements connected to international trade will be permitted.
Most of the new rules are scheduled to take effect on September 1, 2026.
Russia is not embracing decentralization—it is bringing crypto firmly under state control.
Is this real adoption—or simply tighter government oversight?

Coinbase has begun rolling out access to nearly 4,000 US stocks for eligible customers in the United Kingdom.
Users will be able to manage traditional stocks alongside their crypto and fiat balances inside the Coinbase app.
The new service includes Trading nearly 24 hours per day, Monday through Friday, Zero-commission stock trades, Fractional investing from approximately £1, Instant funding using GBP or USDC, Access to major American technology and AI-related stocks.
These are conventional US shares rather than tokenized stocks, with custody and execution handled through traditional financial-market infrastructure.
The launch is part of Coinbase’s plan to become an “Everything Exchange”—combining crypto, stocks, stablecoins, savings and borrowing through one platform.
The bigger story is not simply that Coinbase added stocks.
It is that the boundary separating cryptocurrency exchanges from traditional brokers is rapidly disappearing.
Could crypto platforms eventually replace traditional investment apps?

Crypto is heading into the weekend looking surprisingly calm — but underneath the surface, this was anything but a quiet week.
Bitcoin started August around $62,900 and is now trading near $64,700, while Ethereum has moved from roughly $1,860 to above $1,900.
The gains are modest, but several major developments could shape what happens next.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted approximately $754 million during the first week of August, while wallets holding between 10 and 10,000 BTC reportedly accumulated more than 20,000 BTC — around $1.2 billion — since July 29.
The Senate will not vote on the crypto market-structure bill before summer recess.
The debate is now expected to resume in September, keeping regulatory uncertainty alive heading into the U.S. midterms.
BlackRock launched tokenized access to money-market funds representing hundreds of billions of dollars in assets.
The tokenized real-world asset sector continues expanding rapidly as traditional finance experiments with blockchain-based infrastructure.
The U.S. unexpectedly lost 23,000 jobs in July.
Treasury yields and the dollar dropped as traders reduced expectations for another Federal Reserve rate hike — potentially supportive for crypto liquidity.
And yet…
Bitcoin barely moved.
The market enters the weekend with stronger institutional demand and improving rate expectations, but also regulatory uncertainty, geopolitical risk and extremely low volatility.
The setup may look boring.
The forces underneath it definitely are not.
