BITCOIN HAS THE BUYERS. SO WHERE’S THE BREAKOUT?
Bitcoin is back around $65,000, recovering from roughly $62K at the beginning of August.
And institutional demand looks considerably stronger.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $853.5 million last week — the biggest weekly inflow since mid-April.
BlackRock’s IBIT alone accounted for approximately $693 million of that demand.
Yet Bitcoin is still struggling to make a decisive move.
That may be the most interesting signal in the market right now.

Money is entering through ETFs.
The dollar has softened following weak U.S. employment data.
Even the Senate delaying the CLARITY Act until after recess failed to knock BTC materially lower. Bitcoin is still up around 3.7% over the past week.
So why isn’t BTC exploding higher?
One possibility is simple:
There is still enough selling above current prices to absorb all that new demand.
And today brought another reminder of that supply — Strategy disclosed that it sold 1,690 BTC for roughly $108.6 million last week, although the sale was connected to its broader capital-management strategy rather than a wholesale exit from Bitcoin.
There is also a major catalyst approaching.
🇺🇸 U.S. CPI arrives Wednesday.
If inflation comes in softer and ETF inflows continue, Bitcoin could finally get the catalyst needed to escape the current range.
If inflation surprises higher — or BTC continues failing to rally despite good news — the lack of momentum becomes considerably more concerning.
Our read:
Bitcoin currently has strength, but not momentum.
Buyers are clearly present.
Now the market needs to prove they are stronger than the supply waiting above.
The next few days could tell us whether $65K is accumulation…
…or simply resistance.

Trump Media sold over $170M in BTC earlier this year but bought roughly $300M in July, reaching an all-time high.
Conversely, Strategy has been selling BTC for weeks.
With Trump Media holding 4,260.73 BTC as of June 30 and recent additional activity, is this just market timing, or does Trump know something?

The crypto market is holding relatively steady today, with Bitcoin trading above the $65K zone while total market capitalisation remains near $2.28 trillion.
BNB and SOL are showing relative strength, while Ethereum remains softer around the $1.62K level.
Overall, the market is still stable, but it has not yet confirmed a broader breakout.
Sentiment remains in Fear, with the Fear & Greed Index at 30, showing that traders are still cautious despite the market holding up well.
Derivatives activity also remains important to watch.
Open interest is sitting near $90.4B, while around $182.2M in liquidations over the past 24 hours shows that leveraged traders are still being flushed out on both sides.
For now, Bitcoin holding above the $65K level is constructive. If buyers keep control and altcoins continue to participate, the market could attempt a stronger recovery move.

Vitalik revised the Ethereum roadmap, prioritizing quantum security while downgrading VDFs and most EVM improvements.
Verkle trees are replaced by ZK-friendly PBT. Privacy is now a core goal, featuring privacy pools, wormholes, and keyed nonces.
New features include zkzk-frames and leanSPHINCS for post-quantum scaling. The spec is streamlined for AI-assisted formal verification, focusing on specialized scalable mechanisms like STARKs rather than rushing upgrades.

The altcoin market is currently testing a 1,000-day support range between $150B and $160B.
If this level fails, the total market cap for altcoins could drop to $136B–$100B, resulting in an average decline of 30%–50%.
While Bitcoin is testing the 200-week moving average, altcoins are resting on multi-year support levels.
Historically, the crypto market experiences one final capitulation before every bull run.
The next potential cycle low may occur in October 2026, likely serving as the last major shakeout before the next bull market begins.
