⚡ 22,000 ETH VALIDATORS JUST ADDED A FASTER BLOCK DELIVERY PATH
A new networking layer called:
MUMP2P
is now running in production on Ethereum mainnet.
Built by Optimum, it works ALONGSIDE Ethereum’s existing GossipSub network rather than replacing it.
Current adoption:
~22,000 VALIDATOR KEYS
16 NODE OPERATORS
1.4M+ ETH IN ACTIVE STAKE
That’s more than:
3% OF ALL STAKED ETH
And ether.fi has now made mump2p mandatory across all 12 of its node operators.
Why?
Validators need Ethereum blocks to reach them quickly.
Late blocks can mean missed attestations and lost MEV rewards.
Optimum says its early mainnet measurements show blocks arriving:
2–4X FASTER
with roughly:
7.88X LOWER ARRIVAL VARIANCE
than the standard GossipSub path.
Important:
Those performance numbers are Optimum’s own measurements.
But the infrastructure is already live at meaningful scale.
Ethereum scaling isn’t only about processing more transactions.
Sometimes it’s about moving the block itself faster.

Pumpfun has launched Pump Bridge, its default platform app for cross-chain token trading.
After tests from September 28 to October 7, the company reported significant improvements.
Buying errors were nearly 13 times lower compared to Relay, at 0.9% vs 11.2%.
Trade execution also showed a market-price deviation about 17% lower.
Additionally, the company estimates that 10 trades of $500 daily could mean about $11000 per year in savings.
