Under the honor of Prof. Ahmed El-Gamal, Prof. Suad Al-Kareb, Prof. Abdel Halim, and Prof. Amira Siddig, who greatly enriched the discussion, the Prof. Daoud Research Group in Cairo held a scientific session last Monday, 6/5/2024. During this session, Prof. Abbasher Hussein Mohamed , Founder and head of the group, discussed the group's experience over a quarter-century of research on epilepsy.

The speaker began by defining the disease and its causes, then outlined the group's contributions to raising awareness about epilepsy through free clinics in Khartoum and mobile clinics across various states and cities in Sudan, as well as providing medication.

He briefly mentioned the scientific papers published in local, regional, and international journals and discussed participation in regional and international conferences, where the group presented dozens of papers involving medical students from various Sudanese universities, recent graduates, neurology residents, and specialists. The presenter also highlighted examples from over fifty scientific papers.

The session was attended by a group of medical students from different universities, recent graduates, specialist residents, internists, community medicine specialists, pharmacists, and science graduates.

وكان بتشريف بروف احمد الجمل ، بروف سعاد الكارب ، بروف عبد الحليم و بروف اميرة صديق دور كبير فى اثراء النقاش
امتدادا لنشاطها الاكاديمي اقامت مجموعة بروف داؤود البحثية بالقاهرة جلسة علمية يوم الاثنين من الاسبوع الماضي 6/5/2024 تحدث فيها بروف ابشر حسين مؤسس و رئيس المجموعة عن تجربة مجموعة بروف داوود البحثية فيما يتعلق بأبحاثها عن مرض زيادة كهرباء المخ خلال ربع قرن من الزمان.
أبتدأ المتحدث بتعريف المرض وأسبابه ثم عرض إسهامات المجموعة في نشر الوعي بخصوص هذا المرض من خلال العيادات المجانية فى الخرطوم والعيادات المتنقلة في ولايات و مدن السودان المختلفة وكذلك توفير الدواء .
ثم تحدث بإختصار الاوراق العلمية التي تم نشرها فى مجلات محلية واقليمية وعالميةّ. كذلك تحدث عن المشاركة فى المؤتمرات الاقليمية والعالمية حيث قدمت الجمعية عشرات الاوراق شارك فيها طلبة الطب من مختلف الجامعات السودانية واطباء حديثي التخرج ونواب اخصائين واستشاري مخ وأعصاب. كذلك تحدث مقدم الندوة عن بعض الامثلة من الاوراق التى فاقت الخمسون ورقة علمية.
حضر الجلسة مجموعة من طلاب الطب من مختلف الجامعات واطباء حديثي التخرج ونواب اخصائيين ومجموعة من اخصائي الباطنية وطب المجتمع وصيادلة وخريجي كلية العلوم. .
