🔰 Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)

📌 The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is India’s central recruitment agency responsible for selecting candidates for various civil services and government posts. It is an independent constitutional body established directly by the Constitution of India.

📌 Detailed provisions regarding its composition, appointment, removal of members, independence, powers, and functions are laid out in Articles 315 to 323 (Part XIV) of the Constitution.

📌 The Chairman and members of the Commission serve for a term of six years or until they reach the age of 65 years, whichever comes first.
