🚨 MHA Demographic Portal Live: The Ministry of Home Affairs has officially launched demography.mha.gov.in to track population shifts across India.

Headed by retired SC Justice P.P. Naolekar, the high-level committee is inviting central/state governments, NGOs, and citizens to submit data on unnatural demographic changes, abnormal settlements, and illegal immigration.

ED has seized assets worth Rs 2,032.81 crores in India belonging to Anil Ambani's Reliance Power Ltd (RPL) under Section 37A of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), 1999.

The seized assets include bank balances of RPL and its shareholding of Sasan Power Limited. These assets are equivalent in value to the foreign exchange held outside India in contravention of Section 4 of FEMA

🇮🇳 Oman overtakes the US as India's biggest LNG supplier in September

🇮🇳 Oman replaced the US as India's largest liquefied natural gas supplier in September, Kpler vessel data tracking showed. Oman shipped an estimated 0.59 million tonnes against 0.34 million tonnes from the US. Total imports were 2.24 million tonnes, up 7% year on year.

Nigeria came in second with 0.35 million tons, despite a 35% decline in imports month over month. The U.S. was third, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was fourth.
